Used our freshly baked oatmeal molasses loaf to fry up some grilled cheeses. Extra-old cheddar, sliced turkey, grainy Dijon, spinach salad, avocado and mayo. Fried in ghee on a hot cast iron pan.

@DoubleEgger - just when you thought you had an idea about cow behavior so you could focus elsewhere...
Edit: great bark and I'm sure similar eats await.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

I may be cruising LEO but that's not brisket... although I could enjoy that.

No egging for this, just a simple, veg-heavy, green chicken curry last night.
Love you bro! -

I normally wouldn't post but.. not so busy. Without sports and without travel, I'm now caught up at work.
I made ribs on the mini, slow at 250 until tender. It was about 5 hours, no wrap and turned out good.
Not on the egg, I cut up a pork butt into 1/2 inch cubes, marinated in achiote, and split into 5 vac sealed bags. Made el pastor tacos yesterday.. simple and good! I recommend the achiote mix shown, and use the pickle juices from canned jalepenos when the recipe calls for vinegar. Make it thick like peanut butter. Seems I'll need another post to add more photos

Got a 15 pound turkey in the Medium. Too big but it was what was for sale. Using Operation Barbecue Relief Mojo Rub. I didn't spatchcock it and it is bumping the thermometer so I couldn't say what temp. No smoking wood as I wanted to taste the rub, just Rockwood. Pics closer to when it is done.

I just started to marinate a butterflied leg of lamb to cook tomorrow evening- keeping it simple: olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. I’ve go a couple of things in the freezer but will be looking for some deliveries most likely if they still exist...Johns Is, SC

Another round of the high heat habanero, garlic and tomatillo fire roasted salsa. Friggin addictive and will kill anything
You should give it a go. The only difference I can find between wimping at the 4 and 6 hab level and the 24 count version is the prolonged staying power of the high heater. Heat intensity of each is about the same to me but...Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! What’s your favorite way to enjoy that salsa? Just standard w Chips?=======================================

Initially tread lightly but if you want to juice up any sauce, wet rub or marinade let 'er rip. As mentioned in the initial postings, it will keep in the fridge for around two weeks or longer. It takes me that long to consume.
Play around with it given the shelter in place we are all trying to exercise.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
I’ll go for it. Your passion inspires me.=======================================
