@Botch @HeavyG We are low usage dinosaurs, been on pay per use (both airtime and data) plans for years, paying $25/120 days. Last year the company got bought out, the new owner changed the plan to pay per use airtime only, wants minimum $25/month for fixed 1GB data allowance. Thankfully the old cost structure still works for us, as long as we don't switch phones I'm guessing  =)

Hopefully Tracfone grandfathers @Botch's plan if things go south with the new owner.

Crunch time?  Not just for chocolate eggs but maybe the title.  A quick recap then; Arsenal remain atop on goal difference from Liverpool while Man City lurk just a point behind.  Then there’s a bunch of other teams.  At the foot of the table Sheffield Utd and Burnley have an absolute mountain to climb, while Luton now ‘only’ need to match Forest to stay up, because Forest have been naughty-stepped to the tune of four points-putting them third last by one point. And the Everton saga rolls on and on.

    Saturday.

Newcastle v West Ham, looking less and less likely that Toon will visit Europe next season or that Eddie Howe will still be in the dug-out. 10th is just not good enough, but a win here will put them back not eh scent of 7th and scraping in to Europe.  West Ham are currently 7th and will be in no mood to yield to a close competitor. Tough game 2-2

Bournemouth v Everton, The Cherries all but safe and the Toffees still all at sea, their plight off-pitch is not showing any signs of resolving and on the pitch they’ve been a horror show for weeks and weeks. 1-0

Chelsea v Burnley, an away win is very very unlikely - but it would be ace fun as the Clarets could inch towards potential, theoretical safety if other things went their way.  But let’s not mess about with all that. 3-0.

Forest v Palace , three defats and a draw in their last five is the reason Forest are in the relegation zone, not just the points deduction.  Will it galvanise the squad?  Hopefully it will just cement the notion amongst the players that it was fun while it lasted and they are off looking for more exotic locations as soon as possible. But this is Palace 2-2.

Sheff Utd v Fulham, the hosts are really looking bereft now and their visitors can ease past the 40 point mark and book their holidays with a win here, which ought to be achievable at the canter. 0-2

Spurs v Luton, the Hatters have sprung to 17th or last place amongst the teams who stay up.  This is big news, plus it’s Spurs so the fans could watch 4 goals go in at either end.  Probably a home win. 2-1

Villa v Wolves, local derby and not an inch shall not be given.  The Villains are three points clear in 4th and that’s big, big news but Wolves have found their groove. I think this could be a fun and feisty affair 3-2.

Brentford v Man Utd, The Bees have fallen away badly and whilst not in immediate peril, they need to buck their ideas up pretty soon.  Utd always offer a chance so the home win is not far fetched as a notion.  But form does count so 1-2

    Sunday

Liverpool v Brighton, Big Match #1 can the filthy rotten fetid Seagulls put their stinky beaks ion the title race?  The 22 point gap between these two suggests the Reds have enough to see off the South Coast arriviste. 2-0

Man City v Arsenal , Big Match #2 not an absolute title decider but whoever wins has the wettest sail and assuming Liverpool win, a draw is no good either.  Let’s hope for a true humdinger, home advantage may play a role but it’s mighty, mighty close. 1-0

So, as you can see a tepid start leads to an astonishing climax.  Insert your own line here.

Great insight as always.  However, I have a feeling the Villa vs Wolves match may play out as the "reason people don't like soccer" and end up as a scoreless draw.  I hope I'm wrong.

We are not total luddites. Just don't need shitload of data since we're retired, home most of the time, most places we frequent have wifi, and don't use the phone when driving.

Wow! Last Christmas one of my kids signed up for a cell phone plan with 80 GB a month, the bonus data included was the company's marketing ploy. I highly doubt she uses 1/4 of it.

Trash come this morning, so this afternoon I decided to clean out my fridge and pantry.  Filled up an entire 90 gallon tote.  Temps will be in the 80s and sunny, so I get 7 days of ripening trash.  Good planning I say.

Things you really have to plan for living in the climates we do. Our trash comes on Mondays, and we have been really good about fridge clean outs being Sunday.

Our older kids average around 25 Gigawatts a month. I routinely get notifications they are over their allotments. I’m sure they disregard my warnings and I don’t know what it actually costs me because I don’t deal with the bills.

Still spending time trying to get my parents rental home ready for resale. Or as I put it “polishing that turd” . I think that it was built by crackheads to begin with and my dad’s “don’t need to hire a pro repairs. Then we apparently we had pigs living in it the last 6 years.

I have a third nipple. It's huge, I need to tape it down especially on cold days. On warm days I don't tape it down at all,. Instead I wear a thin shirt and frequently shake it up and down, waiting to see how big it might get, preparing for the cold days to come. Some people flock to home Depot for shovels, I test my third nipple

I feel this was skipped over with some important questions. First, does it take 30 hours to get to, if so why did you get a place so far away (not judging, just curious)? Second, why are you not pulling the ol’ gender role reversal and telling her how to job that she is perfectly capable of doing (feminism and all)?
