    I don't know if 500k in spares is reasonable or not. I don't know your business. That seems extreme. I also don't know what you mean with the lines coming from different countries in regards to spare parts. Mechanical or electrical? It's an automated process I'm sure. PLCs? There are a lot of opportunities out there to not be dependent on specific technologies if you get the right advice.


    I am not that person. Just interested in your situation.

      So yes to all. Metric gears, bolts, hard mechanical parts. Japanese line has Fuji PLC’s that have to have parameters set in Japan. German production line actually has Allen Bradley electronics. Half a million in parts is a drop in the bucket. 3 1000# capacity mixers, 2 automated production lines, 10 ovens, 2 overhead cooling conveyors and 2 high speed bagging lines. Also 2 flour silos and a myriad of other small equipment. 2 full time maintenance engineers and a full array of specialty contractors when needed
