Anyone ever thought about converting an old hotel luggage cart into a big green egg cart?  Thought I’d look up the price of one, because the thought randomly crossed my mind again. At least $750 for some rails with wheels. I’m in the wrong line of work.

Making a large amount of sausage gravy for a B&G’s fundraising breakfast event tomorrow at work.

We do various things this time of year, within the company, to raise money for families that live on our lines that are in need. We take those funds and give grocery gift cards, gas cards, and buy presents for their children.

Going to an REMC was one of the best decisions I’ve made. It really is a family type atmosphere with amazing people.

@ColtsFan - About 75% of my professional life was doing things I loved with people I loved doing it with.  Pretty sure you're in a similar situation (the work and outside "various things").  That is living large, enjoy.

Thanks. I believe excepting another oops that he is Tail End Charlie for that generation. His grandmother is the youngest in mine, his Dad is her youngest, and since he had a girl and a boy in 14 months that there will be a snip snip.

@GrateEggspectations , funny story. Went to Costco for a brisket, bagels and a chicken Alfredo on Saturday. When I was unloading, a really nice dude walked up to me and asked if he could take my cart for me “if I didn’t mind.”  Then he wished me a merry Christmas. I was thinking, “wow, there are some great people left in this world after all!”  I thanked him and wished him a very merry Christmas too. Then I noticed he pushed the cart all the way to the back of Costco and then proceeded into the woods.

I drove around the corner to another store, and there he was again, with the cart.  😆

I have too guilty a conscience to walk away with a hotel luggage cart. 😂 Morals and all I guess.

*edit: I do feel bad for the guy, and would have given him at least the bagels if I had known*

if you wanted to make those that cheap you would need to move to a poverty stricken  area in china ;)  thats chromed steel, it will rust

399 in stainless, at 399 this would need to be built in less than an hour in the us

    Love it. Yes!

The weekend that I stayed at my friend's cabin in the UP...

We basically kept the cabin warm with that wood fired oven.  Always ready with hot water, hot cooking surface, hot oven, etc.

    Magical.

Two weeks short of cresting the hump and the January transfer window beckons.  Teams in danger at this stage struggle to pull clear and a gap is emerging.  Averaging a point per game keeps a team up, more than 1.5 puts them in Europe.  So far it’s Man city who are the muddle factor, by being very off-colour - most others are settling out about where they ought to be.

Arsenal v Everton, strong recent form for the Gunners makes this look somewhere between routine and perfunctory.  3-0

Liverpool v Fulham, as good as the Cottagers have been, this is away to a purring Reds machine.  No way Arne will permit a repeat of the Forest travesty. Workmanlike 2-0 with few thrills.

Newcastle v Leicester, great time for the Foxes to head north.  Toon are in an identity crisis and the strain will be too much  for Eddie to retain his command, soon.  2-2 but a strong side bet on the away win.

Wolves v Ipswich, big game at the foot of the table.  Both need the win and could achieve it - but in the grand scheme of things it will matter little as both look adrift already.   1-1 and no use to either.

Forest v Villa, possibly game of the day. The Villans are the better team but are stretched by Euro commitments. Forest are regressing to the mean though still a handful. 2-1

    Sunday

Brighton v Palace, draw.  Always is.  pick your own pair of matching numbers for the score.  I’ll go 1-1

Man City v Man Utd, neither team in form or clear of mind.  Should be a home win all day long, could be any goal tally or result.  If they could both lose, they would.  3-3

Chelsea v Brentford, west London derby but poles apart in talent. Shaping up as a classic season for the Chels and silverware awaits.  2-0

Southampton v Spurs, apex Spursy Spurs this season. Scored 3 and lost last week - need I say more? 2-5

    Monday

Bournemouth v West Ham, the Hammers’ calamity flirting could be behind them but the Cherries aren’t in the business of being tummy tickled. 2-1.

Just for clarity, cresting the hump is not code for anything mucky, thank you.

Other girls may try to take me away

Thank you for that as always. Unfortunately for both of us, I think both the Seagulls and the Citehzens will come out victorious.

Just put whole bulbs of garlic in, I put a small container of water in there … turn to “ keep warm “ ( you’ll have to do this one a day as that machine has a timer ) I do them for 30 days …you can go more or less, that’s the sweet spot for me. I dehydrate some and use the rest as is, compound butters and such..at 6-10 dollars a head of garlic online this is the way to go
