@JohnInCarolina I think the woman in the pic giving the side eye had just identified you as an American, taking food pics and all.
    Love you bro!

Installed a 'warm motherly hug' machine in the master bath.  Not too bad, we don't have electricity near the terlet, so I had to drill through the wall tile, clip the plug off the cord to feed it through the wall, put a replacement plug on and replace the wall outlet in the bedroom with a GFCI. It's all behind the dresser now, out of sight.
    Love you bro!

I know there aren’t many hockey fans here, but I am watching Edmonton vs Dallas. This is a perfect example of why hockey is dumb and the reason I love it. Shots in this are 31/9 in favor of Dallas and they are losing.

I'm thinking about a Warm Motherly Hug* machine in my central bathroom, and the wall behind the terlet is adjacent to the main dining room wall, with an existing outlet in the perfect place, would think it'd be easy-peasy to mount an outlet into the bathroom and wire it into the existing outlet, not even having to go thru a wall stud.
But my question is, is that kosher per the NEC?  My newest copy is 1989, and something tells me each circuit breaker needs to be limited to one room; my bathroom already has an outlet by the sink, and two lights, but an outlet down by the terlet would require some drilling/ceiling work.
    Anyone here know?

The goalie is obviously the last line of defense as in soccer as you well know.  But how many of the 31 were on target?  I am removed from hockey as an ardent fan. I think it is a regional fan base for the most part at least in the Lower 48 but I am also old.
That said my youth was spent 45 miles south of Montreal (US side of NYS) when it was the "Original Six" and I watched a lot of hockey.  When in DC in the mid-80's we had a mini season tix plan for the Capitals-saw, Gretzky, Lemieux, Messier and many others roll thru the old Capital Center in Andover, MD.

The broadcasts were a visual challenge (from Montreal) in black and white back then.  Even today the speed of the game is challenging for the camera crews to track.

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

You don’t need one circuit per room @Botch. Some of our rooms share a circuit others have multiple circuits.

At the airport.  Headed to Portugal for the week (work travel).
Bucket list trip for sure, large Portuguese population where I am most of the ones my age are just first generation here
Yep.  Hoping I’ll find a little time to get out and about and see stuff.
See if you can smuggle back some Portuguese style chorizo. It’s an ingredient in shrimp and chorizo fundido /queso ( I think I posted the recipe) . Hard to locate the correct chorizo since Whole Foods closed. Mexican style chorizo just doesn’t work right.

its portuguese  chourico, pronounced "show-reese" alot of us greasy portagees near me. linguica is similar but is extremely mild and lacking heat and flavor.

I think it was the fork handles laying across the prosciutto that caused the disdain.

At the hospital once again. Last week I fell and did something to my right knee. My PC said it's either a torn ACL or a torn meniscus. I was home Friday with an MRI scheduled for this Tuesday when I slipped in the kitchen, fell down and snapped my left femur, I heard it and felt it snap. Turns out the break was right next to my knee replacement, and it required a specific orthopedic specialist of which there aren't many around, to repair. I had to wait, with a snapped femur, or a whole day until I could get in. They fixed it Saturday with an orthopedic nail (yes, an actual nail) and some metal clips. Today I'm up walking around already with two PT's and a walker. Can't even describe the pain. I had to crawl across the floor using just my arms (both legs not able to handle my weight obviously) to unlock my condo door so the fire dept can get me out. Felt like it took forever. Tomorrow they're going to MRI my right knee, and start planning on fixing that within the next few days. Good times.

Update: no bacon. Somehow the unopened package that I saw in the bottom drawer of the fridge had best used by date of February. How does that even happen? We eat a lot of bacon here. It looked fine and the packaging wasn’t compromised. Looked like it just came off the shelf. Couldn’t bring myself to open it though.
