@MasterC - Way to get after it. Menu looks great. Quality family time as well. Great way to spend the day.

One of our house guests is busy cooking us supper. She is low on smokes so I volunteered to go pick up a pack. Cost me $130. I am not complaining!

See if you can smuggle back some Portuguese style chorizo. It’s an ingredient in shrimp and chorizo fundido /queso ( I think I posted the recipe) . Hard to locate the correct chorizo since Whole Foods closed. Mexican style chorizo just doesn’t work right.JohnInCarolina said:

Yeah, Mexican and Portuguese chorizos are totally different things; one of them should change their name.“The best way to execute french cooking is to get good and loaded and whack the hell out of a chicken."

$11. on the "heaters". 55 on the big-boy BT, 75 for the Blanton's. I think my vice is a much better deal than the guests. 🙂

Been eating takeout lately as I still can't stand up for very long; today I had my very last Whopper.
Speaker: "Welcome to Burger King; what can I get you?"
Me: "Whopper Combo w/iced tea"
Speaker: "Medium or Large?"
I glance at the board, M is a $1.40 upcharge and the L $2-something.
Me: "Just the Small"
Speaker: "We only sell M or L, which will it be?"
Me: "You have a Whopper Combo on your sign out here advertised for $8.99; that's what I want"
Speaker: "We only sell M or L, which would you prefer?"
Me: "Why are you advertising an $8.99 Combo if you're not selling it?"
Speaker:
Me: (drives off)

@JohnInCarolina - Thanks for sharing the pics. The lady at the next table over is maybe thinking "wish I'd ordered that"?

@Botch - Haven't been to BK in years, so you've made me curious. What is different between a regular, M and L Whopper?LBGE, LBGE-PTR, 22" Weber, Coleman 413GGreat Plains, USA

Lisbon does remind me of the time my Daughters Girlfriend lived with us and a friend came over, he was “ whose Ashley “ I said she was our foreign exchange student from Lesbia, he was so excited “ tell them when you get back to your country how cool the people here are “ 10 years ago I still give him crap about thislkapigian said:Visalia, Ca @lkapigian -
Try to avoid fast food, but it's so dang easy. Try to avoid the drive through on top of that, but it's so dang easy. When I hear that I respond with "the smallest thing you sell"Botch said:Been eating takeout lately as I still can't stand up for very long; today I had my very last Whopper.
