Careful Cali, he negotiated $150 of frozen pizza over 52 weeks on a $1M+ real estate deal. Pizza don’t lie. The man is a genius.

The capacity for some of the total zeroes on this forum to pick fights with some of the more intelligent, active, and popular members will never cease to be entertaining.

I did, but they come out same in my oven at 425. Bought a house from the gal that owns 2 Papa Murphy’s franchises.  I had realtor put in the contract “one free pizza a week for a year”. That was in August, so we get one every Friday night, and I make them in the oven.  Save the lump for special cooks!
Nobody gives a shvt that your crown achievement in life is buying a house from a papa Murphy dealer we have all heard it before you ranting old lunatic.
OP asked a simple question.  I gave my reply.  INSTANTLY the lurking TROLLS took over his post to slam me, which resulted in 8 immediate dislikes to burntend. Based on that result, you would assume the trolls got the message, since they are all so intelligent, active, and popular!
But they all ended up “hijacking” the thread to show how superior & smart they think they are. Some people really think a lot of themselves.  No lack of self esteem at all.

I never saw the appeal of Papa Murphy's. They cost as much as a pizza baked for you, but you have to cook yourself like a frozen pizza. I'll go with Pizza Hut or Digiorno's.  Now if I got it for free, sure.

8 DISLIKES!!!  That does seem like a lot.  Surely nobody could overlook that many.
  • I feel terrible for OP. Guy asks about a simple pizza and all hell breaks loose. Sorry @JohnfromKentucky!

Papa Murphy's is only "take n bake" which is fine with me since we live in the boonies. Even the delivery services aren't keen on coming here! So picking up a freshly made pizza assembled to my specs while in town sometime that day and then baking it at home when I want it and being hot to boot works for me! As for frozen pizzas? I gave up on those years ago!

Typically I make my own pizzas, crust and sauce 50% off the time and I can't even remember the last time I went to a pizza shop and ordered off a menu...covid or no covid...I mean maybe 40 or 45 years ago!!!

Keep this sort of thing up, Carry, and that guy will start another petition to have you and all of your trolls banned from the forum.  He’s real tight with The Buffalo, you see…

Carey & John… you both remind me of a 8 year old that was promised $10 if she could be quiet and not talk for 60 seconds.  It was a safe bet, because everyone knew she couldn’t do it.
Just can’t help yourselves from posting derogatory comment after comment, post after post.  TAKE A DEEP BREATH, and go hijack another post.  Your hacking & butchering got the “goodie” out of this one for sure.
It’s like you both “feed off each other”, and can’t think on your own.

Do you still carry that $10 as a reminder that you should keep your mouth shut when the adults are talking?

Oh, and there was the time you doxxed me and the wife.  I have thrown a bunch of Brisket Camps, so it’s not a secret, but not cool to put on a public forum.  Fortunately the buffalo killed your posts.

Carey-it took you a whole 8 minutes to rebuke.  So I guess I owe you $10.  Just PM your banking info, and I’ll send you $10 in Bitcoin.

I’ll admit it’s hard for newer contributors (my hand’s up) to sort through the snarled rat’s nest of who’s kidding and who’s trolling. I guess it’ll start to become clearer in time. Lovin’ the genuine Egghead dialogues, though!

    Tim (non-troll)
I hear you. I can only imagine what a new user would think when one of these pops up. I just laugh but I've been here so long I'm jaded to all of it. I have seen so many "my fire went out" posts that it breaks up the monotony a little. Hope you stick around- I have laughed so hard from some of the goofy stuff on here over the years that it's all been worth it. Have met amazing people on here in real life who have become the core of my close friend group.

In this case (and really in almost all cases these days) the troll is easy to spot. This person is on a forum for a cooker they do not own or use just to stir the pot. People like messing with that person for sport.

    when your signature line is:

    Napoleon Prestige 500

    Blackstone 36"

    Oklahoma Joe's BRONCO drum

and you are on a big green egg forum in every single dustup and political thread, messing with people who have been on here 10 years, you may indeed be the troll. Just wish he were a better one.

Like someone said, when deliveries don't come to the house, I like getting the cheese NY style pizza and adding toppings from the garden. Soooo good.

As for the original question, I thought I would see if it's been done and how it turned out. I have seen pizza pics where the crust bubbled up and (to me) it didn't look good.
