A little overcast today.  Decided to do a little pool maintenance, before the sun comes out and it gets too hot.

Enjoying my news and sports viewing.  NFL (No Fun League) is prime time right now.  Syndicated shows and streaming series have no attraction here. I would be all over ala-carte program pricing but that is out there.
    Like bourbon-it is all personal.
Back to my regularly scheduled NFL programming.  And more Sunday.
I watched the 49er/Green Bay game this afternoon, finally figured out it was an old game when I saw Prof. Internet Researcher QBing for GB, but it was still more interesting than the live Texan/someone else game.  (I noticed NBC has a notice at the bottom of the screen all the time, saying if its a previous game; the NFL Network (free on EwetubeTV) doesn't do that; wish they would).

And, does anyone know where Burger King's corporate HQ is?  Their constant airing of that gawdawful out-of-tune singer commercial is driving me mad, and I have a van full of fertilizer I need to park somewhere; TIA.  :anguished:
^^^ the "anguished" emoticon is there at the end, but it's barely larger than a period.  Anyone else experiencing this?
@Botch - That anguished emoticon must be in jpeg format. Need to convert it to PNG maybe.

Thanks, but it was selected from this site's drop-down.  If I have to do some conversions I'll just use more bad words instead.   ;)   (<this is a winkie from this site's drop-down, let's see if it's also miniaturized...)

Hmm, it's not.  Well, I can't even post pics/videos correctly so I must chalk it up to BotchLuck™.

@JohnInCarolina Martha Stewart was on the cover in a bathing suit... I mean what are we doing here?
I don’t know, I guess they were trying to excite the age of men who still get their soft porn in the form of printed magazines.

@Botch - Curious these are the only ones I see from the drop-down.
Not sure how this screenshot will look after I post it. Edit - do we get a larger selection with a higher number of posts?

If you also type in a colon, a more extensive list of emojis will populate that have been around from the original site. Just follow the colon with the first letter of the emoji you’re looking for. Example   is :Mr. Green.

Emojis are about the best thing that have stemmed from the modern generation.:kiss::skull::anguished::dizzy::chicken::fearful:

Edit:  apparently some work and some are too small.

When creating a post (at least in desktop) my browser has an Edit tab.  Click on that and I get whole library of Emojis to insert:

Yeah, I've never had this thought about someone I only know on the internet, but I think I'd like to share a hotel room with you.

This old dog learned a new trick
Struggled with parallel parking all the time, with lots of hit-n-misses. Saw this recently, just tried it and batted 2/2. Better late than never.

@Ragingirishman2 , I was literally just taking a bite out of homemade chocolate chip banana bread as I opened the thread and saw your pic. My wife made it for the first time yesterday. Good stuff.

Remembering why I find NBC to be the worst of the broadcast networks covering the NFL.  Fortunately the current game, Bucs-Lions is the last one on their plate this season.  Their non game announcers (pre-game and half time) and producers are an order of magnitude below other networks for me.  Your mileage may vary.  🏈
