Nice! Looks like the 6 inches of snow that was predicted in this winter storm warning amounted to 1 inch. No plowing for me!

Good on Hussey. Neat to see!

We told him yesterday that "Butt Blast Rub" is just out there in the wild, waiting for some aspiring pitmaster to grab it and run with it.  Based on his reaction, I expect it to hit the shelves soon!

This thing is across the street and down one house.  Just looked up Bluetooth range. Didn't know there were different classes of blue tooth. Over 300 feet!

BLE is used in all kinds of devices now. WiFi access points use BLE to track people/devices within an organization. Retail merchants use BLE to beacon radios of nearby possible customers to collect metrics on them from their devices. Ever been using a Navigation app on your phone/car and had an ad pop up from a retailer at one of the intersections you’re stopped at? It’s almost certain they’re using BLE to beacon potential customers. In larger cities they’ll use it to target you if you’re walking by their storefront on the sidewalk. I could go on and on. It’s amazing how this technology is being used.

Headed back out to collect more branches from the winds of Friday.  All while listening to the tones of my generator. 59*F and sunny.

We are doing some of the same with our oldest.  Hard to imagine being “empty nesters” but it will be here before we know it.

Since I’m a knuckle dragging moron and a lot of you are really smart people, how do I set up a “dummy” unit for my Meater so I can leave the house and know where my cook is at by looking at my phone? I read another thread that says someone does it, but like I said, I’m not smart. Do I just download the app to my iPad and then I can look at the app on my phone?

I was split on how to finish this fine shave off. I was torn between Old Spice and Taylor Of Old Bond Street. Ultimately I went with TOOBS.
