Nice! You found the last of our water!
Y’all got bodies buried there too?
Nah in Vegas those are all in the concrete under the sub floors of the various casinos.

Just turned in my resignation letter for my current position. Big opportunity with a local power cooperative came up.

    Change is good!
    Good luck, sounds promising!

I took wifey for a long stay in the Aria in celebration of her 30th a few years back. We were very pleased.

Just received this text from my neighbour and I’m pretty sure my head’s circumference has just grown a few inches.

Truth is, I’ve been hand picking, and I have the injuries to prove it - no joke!

We’ve pulled a body or two out of that particular body of water before. $5000 reward for bodies found at Lake Mead right now.

Our yard is descent at best but I took this picture of our neighbors yard a few days ago. Not one dandelion in their yard. I may or may not have accidentally drove my pull behind sprayer through their yard last spring and fall. Oops.

Cosmo? If so, go eat at Scarpetta.  One of the best meals I have ever eaten.
Any recommendations from Scarpetta? We cancelled Golden Steer because reservation was at 9 and didn't feel like leaving hotel that late.  We managed to get in to Scarpetta this evening instead.

City parks and many homeowners don’t spray here, crazy with dandelions for a few weeks then, suddenly, poof.  Can’t find one.

We have a couple folks that don't seem to give a rip about weed control that still have them here but luckily most folks seem to have moved past that stage as well. I haven't had a weed in my yard for 3 years so never had to worry about them in this house.

Holy smokes @JohnInCarolina great suggestion.  That was phenomenal, and something I can not easily recreate.

Mowed the lawn.  They delayed turning on secondary water here a month, and my lawn is mostly dead already, mower just took down the occasional fescue.
The secondary water you speak of is free? If not, why do they determine when you use it? I use my irrigation system at will because I pay for it
The west has a lot more water restrictions because it is a desert with rapidly declining reservoirs.
Perhaps he has flood irrigation which some folks use.  You are given a day and time when you get to open the gates to flood your yard.  We used to have irrigation parties.  At least it makes having to turn your irrigation on at 3am on a Wednesday more fun.  You can supplement with regular water, but it is pricey.

I do not back up to any canals so flood irrigation is not an option in my current locale.  I mostly see it on horse properties in suburbs of Phoenix.
I've seen flood systems in Spain with miles of concrete troughs following the contours down, with occasional pumps to raise the level before the next fall where the terrain doesn't work out. Water comes direct from the reservoir via pipes / larger channels, so no treatment needed.

This could be a very harsh reality in a grocer near you in the future. Oh, and it’ll cost way more than the $4 it does now

I just seen on the news that for the first time ever gas is at least 4 bucks a gallon in every state.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.
