Being glad I’m not a lawyer with all of the commotion that surrounds a civil suit. Very happy to be a lowly baker. Suits Dismissed with prejudice. They now have to pay our legal fees and court costs. They want to negotiate....that’s funny, I don’t care who you are

    Uh...we just negotiated. You lost.
Basically. They want 6-12 months to pay. Nope. Go get a loan. I’m not in the business of waiting to be paid.

    damn skippy.

Just chaps my ass. You sue me and lose. You gotta pay my costs and fees and now you want me to basically loan you money? Would the same courtesy have been extended to me if I would have lost? Doubt it

Just put these on.  They’re stuffed peppers from Costco.  They’re great off the Egg if you’ve never tried them.
On my list! I love stuffed pepper’s

Calzones turned out. One pesto sauce and one red sauce. Cheese, red onion, pepperoni, and brushed with salt, pepper, garlic butter at the end. Could have used a little more toppings.
Looks good from here. I may need to pull out the pizza stone one day and give pizzas/calzones another try.

Rolling pork steaks and Parmesan potato wedges. I don’t remember who is responsible for sharing the recipe for the wedges, but thank you as they have been a weekly staple lately.  I pull them out of the oven, toss in a pan and put a pile of cheddar/jack cheese on them, toss back in the oven just long enough to melt the cheese and serve with ranch or sour cream.

Currently have a 7 yo in the backyard moving dirt with a shovel and bucket as momma has had enough back talk for one day.

I've got a bunch of rock and 115 degree weather if that kid keeps acting up.

Awesome.  How do you do the wings?  Smoked with S&P and then glazed with SO to finish up?

Got to clear space in the detached garage for Big Bertha the Large. Hurricane Laura is coming. Actually 2 hurricanes but the western one is just for Texas. @caliking might want to prep for a Cat 1 but wet time in about 4 to 5 days. Houston always floods. Hmm? Need to stock up on Rockwood, being a half mile from ACE makes me lazy.

I can’t keep track of the disasters in 2020, so I stopped checking. But, we didn’t flood during Harvey. Came pretty damn close though.

@Battleborn I’ve got plenty to keep the 7yo busy, 8 ton of river rock coming in < 2 weeks that gets moved with a wheel barrow 😉.  I’ve started using my dads tactics to adjust attitudes and find it has pretty good effectiveness.

Having people over for fajitas/tacos tonight in the cul de sac. One of the neighbors text me like 30 minutes ago that he got a costco pack of ribs he’s coming by to drop off to contribute. Scramble time.
