@bucky925 - looking good going in and even better when you nailed 'em. Glad they measured up. My only source for that cut now.bucky925 said:Beef back ribs from Porter Road on advice from @lousubcap. They were very good, Ms. Bucky really like them! Thanks Frank.

utard is mostly vote-by-mail anymore, and there was a huge hub-bub about people not getting their little stickers that way. A well-grounded clerk who made that decision for Davis County told the local news they'd saved $26,000 with that decision.kl8ton said:

Of course, next election the Fine Citizens of Davis County will be getting their &^%#% stupid little "stickers" in the mail.

Got the granite top outta the truck easily with the forklift. Picked up this hydraulic table from harbor freight. People that have them say they don't know how they lived without one. Also saves your back. Great shop table and for working on mowers, etc.

Haha I was joking with my wife that no one would know I voted because I didn’t get a sticker. F*%^+*g Utah should save that for education it’s dearly needed.Botch said:

I have adopted two children, both domestically in the US with very little drama. It can be done and I am happy to discuss with anyone how we did it. We have a semi-open relationship with their biological parents and it has worked out just fine. If anyone wants help with this please PM me.Kayak said:
I've spent a lot of time in adoption support groups and heard a lot of the horror stories that show up there. Along with that, year$ in family court and kissing the asses of politicians on committees that could affect my life. This is hardly the norm, but believe me the odds are pretty high for heartbreak. I would say that no one knows what they are getting into when they jump in, but going back to the good old days of orphanages doesn't seem to be the answer. Humans by nature are obsessed with their biological parents no matter how awful they were, and those bio-parents rarely think they should not get to keep what's 'theirs'.GrateEggspectations said:
I’ve always thought adoption and fostering are some of the greatest things you can do for society. And on the individual level, you are literally changing someone’s world for the better. The Cen-Tex Smoker said:
That is a reasonable response.kl8ton said:
Unsure how to feel about this. Do you still foster? The Cen-Tex Smoker said:May be the strangest dessert I have ever been served. Foster daughter’s 22nd birthday tonight so we went out for dumplings and noodles at our favorite spot. They knew it was her bday (she had a drink and they carded her) so they brought this after our meal. Chocolate mousse bulldog puppy with raspberry filling. It felt weird chopping his little head off but he was delicious.
We have not fostered any others. This one was in our orbit and needed some emergency intervention like 6 years ago. No way we could have not helped knowing what was going on. We didn’t know it was going to be a foster situation but that was the best thing to do given the circumstances.I think I’ll stop at two biological children, but if I was to consider another, I’d have to give serious thought to adopting. -
I grabbed one of those saws from the Home Depot sale I posted a few days ago. UPS just dropped it off. For 299 it’s a very nice saw.

Miso glazed King Salmon with sesame grilled okra (last of the season) and forbidden rice served with Shoyu Jus (Japanese crack and chicken broth) I’ve posted this cook 20x on here but it’s really good. And the okra is new so don’t hate.
