OT - What are you doing right now?

Early November is finally here. I have seen a lot of hate spewed in recent days about a man who is a constant winner and overachiever, and that's what the people who support him like about him. Yes, he's been caught in some lies and maybe twisted the truth a little but he's still out there proving his haters wrong time after time. Some people are just jealous of someone who is successful and has money. Throw in a hot foreign underwear model at his side and they hate him even more. You may not have wanted him in his role, but he's there now and there's nothing you can do about it. I know it’s possibly just going to get worse over the next several days, but like him or not, Tom Brady is turning things around in Tampa.

I watch a bit of what you amusingly call football and saw Brady early in the season. It definitely wasn't working out. I saw him again a couple of weeks ago and even I could see things were a lot better.

Just got back from the doctor.  Over the last 3 visits, BP went from 200/100 to 180/90 to 110/70.  Doc said he's going to take me off the BP meds in 6 months.

no dizzyness with that much drop, i had to increase mine a little. docs got me on 4 to 5 cups coffee a day now

I did have some for quite a while.  I took it as an alcohol replacement feature, not problem.  Anyway, it's gone now.

I drink a ton of water in the form mostly of sparkling water.  In the evening, my drink substitute is diet tonic water on the rocks with lime.  f*ckin hits the spot.

I am glad to hear the above. And I am glad to hear that you laid down the liquor. You was going down a road to nowhere my friend. Now if I could just talk you into a haircut and get you to stop wearing a damn dress

Yeah. He cut out about a gallon a day of Evan Williams.

Drank a handle (1.75L) of Evan Williams Black every *two* days.   For a long, long time.  It was killing me.  Been drinking for 35 years.  I haven't touched alcohol in over 2 months.  Quitting the wrong way can be fatal.  I was HIGHLY motivated, made a plan and followed it.

Just signed up for another Covid vaccine trial.  Haven't gotten the call for the first one so when another opportunity opened up I jumped in.  Perhaps better luck this time although the first is still open.  Bring it!
