    I scored some bulk ammo today. Almost 4000 rounds. But with the pending doom at hand I think it’s money well spent.

    Phew, I was worried.  I buy cartridges like that too.  I remove the bullets, pop the primers, then make necklaces to sell at the farmers market along with my crystals, flowers, and essential oils.

  • Finished the hurricane cleanup today, had to rerake the leaf pile and cut the grass . Started to reassemble the Egg. Going to have to watch a ewetube video, can’t seem to get one spring reattached. Going to a funeral tomorrow. A contractor that I worked with for 25 plus years daughter died. She had cancer for 4,352 days. I guess he will have to adopt his grandson.

    Wow, that is a packed statement.  Glad you got everything ckeaned up, hope the next one misses you.

    Bad deal about your contractor's daughter.  Real bad deal for her son.  Hope your friend can take him in.

    Unfortunately that is a very real possibility. But I hope it is not the case.

    Box in each hand and off for a run around the camp, right? Who needs kettle-bells.

    Well there’s not much going on in the world so it’s lucky that the football is here to occupy us.   Three day weekend starts tonight, then an international break next week.

    Tonight;

    Brighton v Burnley - you can pay to watch it on TV, I’d argue that anyone who does needs an intervention.  Both struggling and no goals or fun is very probable, although 1-1 feels right.

    Southampton v Newcastle - Saints are firing but have lost Danny Ings up front, the Toon are unpredictable.  2-1

    Saturday;

    Everton v Man Utd - home win looks on because Ole’s lads are all over the shop right now.  Something’s got to give and mid-November is traditional axe-wielding season for PL managers.  I hear grinding, 3-1.

    Palace v Leeds - identical records this season but the media are all starry eyed about Leeds.  All 3 results equally possible as the mighty Eagles look to contain dirty Leeds. They won’t for the whole match. 2-2

    West Ham v Fulham - temporary relief last week for Fulham as they beat West Brom but even the haphazard Hammers will see this home.  1-0

    Reading v Stoke, Potters had a set-back midweek losing to wretched Watford.  Now they head to the table toppers, albeit the hosts have lost their last two.  1-1 and a decent point for both.

    Sunday;

    West Brom v Spurs - Jose’s men are in good form and he scents a top 4 finish already.  No mistakes here 0-3.

    Leicester v Wolves - most entertaining fixture on the card, plenty goals and as I have imported Vardy to my fantasy team I hope he bags a couple. 3-2

    Man City v Liverpool - the blues are failing to convince and the reds are top. Both teams will concede goals so its close to call, 1-2.

    Arsenal v Villa - the visitors are regressing to the mean now and tumbling down the league. Exactly the sort of game that the Gunners have to put to bed to evidence their top 4 aspirations.  2-1.

    Finally, I seem to have missed the thread about England’s rugby 6 Nations win last week.  Never mind there will be cricket along again soon.....

    Whist avoiding media lately I stumbled across a guy named Hobo Shoestring on YouTube. He lives on the rails and makes videos about it. For some reason today it sounds like a good life 😀

    Maybe you could find a hobo and do some kind of Trading Places deal with him.  I think you'd get it out of your system in a week.

    @Botch That looks pretty tasty. I’d crush a plate of that.
