Waiting earnestly to see pictures of it once you install the police lights....

    ...standing by....
Ha!   Luckily for everyone, those days are gone.

(OK, I may have made the siren noise once or twice in my head and I did stall it trying a J turn)

Seriously, that's quite a spread, especially for England.  Congrats!

“nee-naw nee-naw nee-naw nee-naw".....Sir gopher, do you have a proper permit to excavate my lawn, or are you contracted to dig an alternate Chunnel?  (pew! pew! pow! wack!)

Ordered me one of these seats for the forklift.  Old seat is 31 years old and falling apart.  I'm starting to paint the lift, so why not treat me bum too some new high quality PVC and polyurethane sponge?

Also a foot pedal switch and some high voltage (10KV) wire to do my wood burning (fractals).

Just the feathered and furry kind.   From Red Kite to Robins, via Barn Owl and on the ground muntjacs are our current favourite. There's also a colony of Glis Glis living inn the treetops.
What's different living in the country to the town is that I can put out the household rubbish and foxes don't go through it all.

Ok, full disclosure : I do have a push along and a self-propelled.  And will still need to use them because of the odd shapes to parts of the garden and the tiny front lawns.   All the grassed areas are quite bumpy too.

The trouble was I spent as much time emptying the collectors and borrowing cuttings to the compost heap.

I didn't mind the walking but SWMBO forcefully persuaded me that 3 hours cutting the lawn was not optimal.

Who knew that there's an art to ride-on's.  Levers, dead-mans switches, cutter heights, reverse gear, turning circles, battery trickle charger......

My problem with the ride-on was that it disappeared when we were on holiday. Very easy to steal. Since then I've been self propelled as I can keep it in the shed, but it takes way too long. Just ordered a robot to do the bulk of the lawn. Also easily stolen, but works on GPS and registered to the property, so not that useful to the local scroats.

I have purchased my wife a Tower Garden for her birthday. It's been on her wish list for many years.

I thought about one of those,  let me know how you get on with it.

Also; 'scroat' - we got banned from saying that in my former profession.  =)

I am concerned, your trolling has gotten noticeably weaker lately.  Try a can of spinach maybe.

I would think if spinach were identifiable down there, there might be bigger problems with stuff running through the grommet like a comet.

There must be a rib shortage in my part of the world. Went by Kroger and BB were $20 a rack and Costco had zero in the case.

Costco here is up to $5.69 a lb but they have plenty. 3 packs used to be $22-25 now $50-60.
