    easy.  band saw blade guides.

I knew you'd get it. Someone is unhappy though.

Makes me happy when they are unhappy.  Is that wrong?

I saw that dislike go in and I checked the usual suspects last activity timestamps and it looks like it's friendly fire from a franchise owner.  That's not to say it is anything more than circumstantial at this point.  I'm not one to accuse without evidence.

Cracks me up how every mean troll post is blamed on me when it's legit not me.  I used conway twitty when I got banned for a while just to get on and I got the credentials for another account that a certain infamous someone used until it got banned recently, but that's it.

Here's a woodworking hack I figured out on my own.   You can never have enough clamps, right?   Buy one of these HF clamps, they go up to 60 inches, and I got them 20% off, look for a coupon....

    Harbor Freight ToolsHarbor Freight Tools
Amazing deals on this 36In Aluminum Bar Clamp at Harbor Freight. Quality tools & low prices.

    They are cheap and flimsy.

But the inside is exactly 3/4" wide.  So rip some plywood that fits inside exactly, You'll need to cut a channel in one end.

Slide them in the clamp and it stiffens it up to where it's actually a really good clamp.  You can make it more stiff if you add some glue here and there.  But I got like 10 of them at 60 and 48 inches and they're way cheaper than those big bar clamps from Jet or Bessey which are around 80 bucks each.

I am looking for a something around 7,200sqft, possibly a 60'x120', my current idea would be to partition off a 40'x60' section, make that a shop that is insulated with a heated slab and bathroom, enclosed office in one corner. The rest would be gravel floor cold storage for farm equipment. In a effort to get this past the planning committee (swmbo) I told her we could keep some goats out there as well. This plan would be broken down over a few years, we plan to build at the speed of cash so first would be the structure, then work in the shop.

Dream building would be 60x120 all on a heated slab, insulated, corrugated steel walls inside, bathroom, office, and a inlaw suite attached to the outside wall, covered sidewalk porch.

Inlaw suite?  That means you'll have to put it on the side of the farm opposite your house....  =)

Wowza, that Three Forks Ranch is quite the place.  $2k a night per person for lodging may seem high but, they have promotions going for this Spring...
Just amazing the way some people choose to live.  And certainly not ranching in the way I'm familiar with.

I would hope it's all inclusive, including guns and dildos.

My work shed a 6000 sq ft footprint. Double skinned and insulated, but the new stuff is all integrated outer skins and insulation.

Our office is blockwork lower floor and stud work upper, just built inside the steel shell, so it's easy to add after the basic shed is built.

A bottle of saffron, so expensive that it’ll have to go in the safe. Couldn’t find fideo so thin spaghetti broken up will have to do.

I get the impression goat yoga is an outdoor activity, or at least not one for porous yoga mats or carpet.

The main workshop (5000 sq ft) has 2 x 75 kW gas heaters fitted.  Not working at the moment because of supply issues (the previous meter was unregistered).

The offices (1000 sq ft on 2 floors) has heat / air-con units fitted.  It is heavily insulated now, so heats up really fast.

80 kW of solar panels being fitted now, I'm hoping that will cover our electricity requirement over the year.

  • That is awesome man, sounds like a cool set up.
