I agree, for me best combination of value (good price) and quality is Samsung.

Even the remote and software ... it auto recognizes what equipment is attached and feeding the video signal, and then automatically sets up the remote to work EVERYTHING on their remote ... so simple to use. No more fumbling with 5 remotes, or having to buy a Logitech programmable remote to do all that.
This just made my day, thank you Mark!

Logitech quit making universal remotes a few months back, and to my knowledge there are no equivalents.  My Harmony One, and my TV, are both twelve years old so I'm sure one or the other will be dying someday; I'll have to look into the Samsungs.

The only issue is the Samsungs use full-gloss glass, while my LG has a matte surface; that really makes a difference when you have windows on two sides of your living room.
My Samsung Q80 has an anti-glare coating.  The lighting in my living room is horrible during the day.  Two separate 9' windows that result in rays of light hitting the TV.  Picture still looks good, even off-axis viewing.

I second @Mark_B_Good on Samsung's software.  I have Rokus, a Chromecast, and Firesticks.  I no longer use them at all.  I just use the Samsung interface.  It hooked up seamlessly with my Ambeo and Xbox.  Single remote that just works is a wonderful feature.

Need this group's input on a new TV.  Looking at a 65" but not sure if a QLED or OLED is worth the extra money.  Thoughts please! Thanks in advance.
We had an older QLED Samsung that developed some picture issues inside the 5 year warranty, so we got full price against a new 8k Neo QLED and it's a really nice TV.  As others have said, it integregrates with the sound bar and other devices more easily than the previous one we had.

For that likely small subset of folks here that
1 - have a BJ's  warehouse in their area and
2 - also like Truff hot sauce
BJ's has marked down the price even more:

Bought a few packs when they marked down the price to $14.99 a few weeks ago but had my wife pick up a couple more today. It's one of my top ten hot sauces. To quote a semi-famous person - "I put that sh!t on everything."

    6 80# bags of Bermuda/Alfalfa pellets
    1 bag sweet feed
    1 bag dog food

$215 ..... Was $130 about 6 months ago.  Feed prices are going crazy.  Glad I'm not feeding a herd.

Just bought a new Sony touchscreen head-unit for my Jeep complete with backup camera from Crutchfield.  Great service and all of the vehicle specific instructions needed to install it myself.

I am in it about $625, but I will have a backup camera and Apple car-play.
Crutchfield needs to stomp amazoid into the dirt.  Great company!

I second this.  I enjoy working with Crutchfield.  Pre-internet they would send you, in the mail, the instructions for your specific car, and they had techs who would walk you through it on the phone.  The people I interacted with also seemed passionate about audio.

Brings back memories, last time I ordered from Crutchfield was around 1999, I had 2 10” subs behind the seat of a standard cab 86’ f-250 a 500w amp and Jensen deck.

We just booked a week in the Algarve in September. First proper holiday for 3 years, possibly more - we can't remember.
Portugal is great, where you going?
Other girls may try to take me away

This was going to be my weekend project.  The storms in the south have derailed those plans.  Hopefully, the folks who got blasted with ice and snow are OK.  I will install another day!

    Thanks @lousubcap!

I have perused those threads and have been pinging a coworker who visited last fall.  We're really looking forward to it - SWMBO spent 4 months in Spain during college and absolutely loved it, she's been dying to return.

Hahaha - I remember when it was Columbia House and it was LPs and cassettes.  My brother had a membership and got 12 old stock albums (always seemed to be Jethro Tull and Yes albums in the mix), huge S&H fees and then every month he would have to say no to some album he didn’t want and if he didn’t answer no in time…he bought an expensive albim.
    Love you bro!

Back in those days I had the same problem with BOMC (Book-of-the-Month-Club) - forget to mail back in the card to reject a month offering and end up paying for a book I didn't really want.
I learned later that if the delivery remained unopened you could just write "RETURN" on the packaging and it could be sent back sans payment.
