Thanks @saluki2007.  Around here we are lucky to find regular Buffalo Trace on the shelf every few weeks-never mind the rest.  And 58 miles from the distillery!  Glad someone nailed the deal-

Can anyone point me to the dome thermometers that are oversized with large numbers? Seems I have seen them before but can not find them now that I need.

@Eggdicted_Dawgfan - I have one in my LBGE sourced from my BGE dealer.  The one I have is around 3" in diameter. Others here have smokeware thermos but I don't recall the number size.  Hope this helps.

@Eggdicted_Dawgfan incoming pic-manufacturer is Tel-Tru.  Great analog thermos.

As an aside I cannot understand why the 200*F is upside relative to the other major numbers.  That pattern is consistent with the smaller size and even older BGE supplied thermos.

Agree with Frank.  The Tel-Tru thermometers are very high quality and accurate. And hold calibration well.

Thank you guys. I guess I was dreaming when I saw the large print. I will get this in route. Thanks for the help. I think they turned the 200 upside down so its easier to read when the thermometer is upright where 450 is at the noon position.

Note that "700" has the same orientation as 200, for the reason @Eggdicted_Dawgfan stated.

I can keep an eye out. It’s all Over the place around here. I’m leaving on a golf trip Sunday but I’ll make the rounds.  Buffalo Trace is always available here if people need that. Anywhere from 26-36 bucks. Cheers

Nice.  We are going just north of Lagos this time, exploiting the luxury of travelling without children.  

With the kids we used to go a bit further east to Burgau.  There's a lovely beach with very nice cafe at Zavial, a few kms further on from Burgau.    Be warned though, the far end is for sun lovers of the uninhibited kind.

@ColbyLang Callaway irons are “money”.  I just sold my APEX 19’s for a ridiculous price on eBay, and bought Ping G425’s after a fitting session.  The new technology in clubs gives us old golfers a definite advantage!

Sold the Callaway CF19’s for $500 (4-PW) locally. I also sold a set of Titleist T200 irons for $600, but they were like new. Head flew off the 7 iron, and I found out Titleist built a bunch of these with “bad” epoxy. Factory wanted me to send in to replace epoxy on set, but was going to take 8 weeks. 

You will like the soft feel of PXG irons.

I'm so looking forward to the PXG Irons, already have the 3 metal and Driver!!
