For those who wonder how an otherwise kind and gentle human can support the candidacy of Donald Trump, this article might provide some answers.  Beyond this article, I know nothing about the author and I am not an evangelical Protestant.

You just knew the right was going to turn this kid (who wasn't even old enough to legally own the gun he used) into a hero.

A 17 year old who murderered two people, shot a third where the damage was so severe, he had to have his arm amputated, vs. Donald Trump?

Ok. I totally get it. A total shīt stain is better than Trump. You know what the bad part is? I agree.

He only killed 2. Trump has killed over 200,000.

    Totally presidential material.

Give me a fukcing break. Fascist right wing hypocrites.
You really need to check your sources. It seems they are straight up lying to you.

As much as I enjoy the back and forth here and don't have a real job, I do have a position that places considerable demands on my time.  That's what I'll be doing the rest of the day today, with an exit around 5 to join the Zoom call tonight with our friends across the pond.  I hope to see at least some of you there.

For the moment, I'll leave you with the statement Coach K made yesterday about what's happening in the country right now.  I would say that regardless of what you think of Coach K or Duke athletics, it's worth your time:

I really wish this country could find its way back toward center, from both sides.  It’s like televised tournament poker has taken over and everyone can’t wait to go all in on anything.
You think Biden is left of centre?
Sorry, I wasn’t really just focusing on the candidates, I was speaking more generally, how more polarized positions pull candidates and people toward the edges.   And how polarized positions are used to demonize the other party and candidate.

And boy, we sure love to hear and use generalizations about the other team instead of asking questions, asking people as individuals, etc.  We love to use labels.  Less of that would be a good start.  Instead, we pull down a tweet from someone that is a pot stirrer and we say “see, this is what all the Libs think” or whatever label you want to use for Repubs.
    Love you bro!

    Nice non-answer.

Do you support those people rioting everyday in Portland and burning cities all over the country and crapping in the streets all over California? I think Biden refers to them as his base.

What planet are you living on where you think there are people crapping in the streets all over California?  Maybe give the cocaine a rest for the night pal.

Good Lord folks.  Do you even read the stuff you post?
I’m in central Ca, it’s horrid in most cities here AB5 AB300 operation room key, it’s balloning at a crazy rate...sad thing is there are programs ( 2 billion earmarked in 2020) to help and house the homeless. Tulare County, where I live, has nearly 500 hotel rooms for the homeless, not to mention the permanent housing ( and I mean nice individual apartments) some take advantage, most abuse those gifts ....they bring portable showers to the encampments .....drive down highway 198, the Gateway to the Sequoias and under belly of the overpasses are their camps, filthy stench, ....no, you don’t see piles of poop on the sidewalk, but it’s a real problem that throwing money at won’t fix.....

It's like one of those "Choose Your Own Adventure" Books I had when I was 12

If you think the suspect was:

A- Apprehended by police, turn to page 112
B- Ran naked into someone's home, turn to page 113
C- Was given proper healthcare for his mental illness or addiction so he would no longer be a danger to himself and others, turn to page 114

who am I kidding? There is no C.

It's amazing how this kind of thing seems to be limited to California and you can't find similar stories in other states.

just seems like the BLM narrative only matters when black criminals don't comply with being detained for a crime.

    I read this:

Prosecutors in Wisconsin on Thursday filed charges against a 17-year-old from Illinois accused of shooting and killing two people and injuring a third in Kenosha, Wis., during a protest against the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

Kyle Rittenhouse is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, one count of first-degree reckless homicide, one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment.

A conviction of the first-degree intentional homicide charge, the most serious crime in Wisconsin, carries with it a mandatory life sentence.

    https://wcca.wicourts.gov/caseDetail.html?caseNo=2020CF000983&countyNo=30&index=0&mode=charges

What is even worse, his mother who drove him there, who also participated in her full tactical gear, may also face several charges as well.

Kind of where I got my facts. Anyone can try to justify this all you want, just as you have Trumps treasonous crimes against Amercans, but the case is solid.

IN FACT, what may be the real dåmning evidence, will be the videos of him earlier in the evening and his words and actions leading up to the shootings, oh and plus he is unscathed while telling the police he killed a man.

Want to bring up criminal rdcords of those he shot? Fine. Last I heard, vigilante justice is a crime as well.

They have the facts. He did not have to be there. He purposely went there, possesing a firearm illegally, disregarding the police mandated curfew, representing a militia.

Wisc AG has enough evidence, testimony from the police, no less, to send this child away for life.

So there is where I got my information.

You may wish to check the hypocrite evangelical right wing propaganda machine for their facts.

They had to charge him or the BLM terrorists would have burnt down more cities. There are multiple videos go watch them. You said he was unscathed look at the pictures above where a guy clearly is jump kicking him and another came up and hit him in the head with a skateboard. There is video evidence supporting everything I have said and you are reading some crap off the internet.
