I am not sure there are enough advisors for 4 more years under Trump.  He has hired and fired every respectable Republican and many not so respectable one.  Who is left for him to hire?

KAC quit to spend more time with her family, as did her husband, stepping down from the Lincoln Project.

That’s interesting Ron, I heard she was stepping down to spend more time on her hobby of sewing handbags out of puppies.

Just something to remember from back in the primaries. https://www.politico.com/news/2019/12/04/kamala-harris-black-voters-2020-075651 Kamala is from California, a sure blue state regardless of the candidate. Just what does she bring to the table otherwise? I have been avoiding this thread but trim needed a little help.
It’s true that she gives progressives heartburn.

    Joe does too.
And to some extent that shows that progressives are idiots.  Biden has the most progressive agenda of any candidate with a chance to win in history, and Kamala has the 4th most progressive voting record in the Senate.

Biden picked her because of their personal relationship (and her friendship with Beau), and because she is who he would like to see as the Democratic front runner in 2024.
    And to some extent...

all progressives are not idiots any more than all conservatives are idiots. In this case, there are truly “very good people...on both sides”.

But, I’ll say it again: if your best argument is “the other side is dumber, more corrupt, hates Jesus etc” more than me, You have nothing to talk about.

Why don’t you guys talk about the amazing things that are happening right now? All the winning? I mean this should be a mic drop for trump shouldn’t it?

All you are saying is “look over there”!!! And that is the problem.
Maybe I hadn't been off twitter (where everything is amplified) long enough and there is a substantial group of people who will refuse to support Biden unless he turns into Bernie.  That purity is what I was referencing in terms of them being idiots.  That is why I put up the 'Voting as public transit' analogy right after.

I didn't vote Biden in the primaries either, but if progressives cannot look at his platform, and his - yes, it definitely matters - competence and can't find a reason to support him over Donald Trump, I don't know what to say to them.

Identical here in the UK with a much further Left opposition leader being replaced by a more moderate one.  Supporters of the first leader can't accept the new leader, even though their guy lost 2 elections and delivered us what is probably the worst government we have ever seen in the UK ever. They need to get a grip on reality, the same as your Bernie supporters do.

Sounds like you should move to the SF Bay Area and start taking dumps in the streets.
I can drive across Riverdale road, to the railroad yards in Ogden, and watch folks taking dumps in the street in the huge tent city right there, here in reddest utah.
    But thanks for the suggestion.

Any person who has any tattoo of any US politician needs to have their head examined.

I'm surprised that you guys are still talking about unimportant things like the future of our country instead of the thorough a$$ whooping that USA gave Canada last night in the VGK and Vancouver game.

I refrained from mentioning countries in above NBA games.

Kind of ironic three of the five VGK players who scored against Canada are Canadians  ;)  guess they kicked their own a$$

Considering over half the leagues players are Canadian born, that is no surprise. However, given the state that my country, state and profession are in, you should let me have this. I thought you Canadians were nice.

Great to see Trump laser-focused on what really matters, as always.  Seriously, have we ever had a President who so obviously watched this much cable news?

    I think this is a four-day, 24-hours a day nightmare type deal.

Apparently Pence just walked off with Trump to the YMCA theme song.  And irony is dead.
