I have no trolling skills. I haven’t been around long enough and frankly don’t have the energy to learn. The above is the best I can do as a contribution to this doomed thread.
    Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Gary I’m contemplating giving a short course on trolling skills during one of the Friday Night Zoom calls if you’re interested.  I’m just not sure what to charge for it...

@JohnInCarolina I appreciate the generous offer. I believe however that I’ll sit on the sidelines and enjoy some popcorn and the show. I’ll post an occasional cook along when I need a distraction.

Seriously - how is this thread still alive?  I'm half tempted to post my favorite bouncing gif and tempt fate here...

How about one on mind control, developing your cult and getting them to send you money for frivolous projects.  There are forum reports you can do the first two items, would seem the third item is just a small step from there.
I won't pay upfront though.  Hows about 10% of the proceeds that are generated?

Yeah.  A Google image search of that picture brings you to Twitter pages of some pretty messed up people.

You into the whole QAnon thing there, Steve?

Not with their current platform. But in this case Trump would be far more likely  to finish a four year term than Biden so it isn’t an equivalent situation.
Can I get odds on who ends up in jail after their term(s) are over?

Flags are overrated. Your likes-to-cook-posted ratio, on the other hand, is truly admirable.

I am not sure there are enough advisors for 4 more years under Trump.  He has hired and fired every respectable Republican and many not so respectable one.  Who is left for him to hire?

I do not like nor respect Biden, however, at least he has a large pool of advisors to pull from.

Every time I try to go extensively into something, on this forum, the thread is sunk that night, but I'm gonna do it again (I'll copy/paste to my desktop).

I'm retired military, conservative, a registered republican since '78.  And unlike conventional wisdom, I seem to be going more Liberal, the older I get, rather than the other way around.  Consider:

    1.  The US is the only "advanced" nation on the planet wherein medical care is purchased, rather than provided by the Government.  And we pay more for our medical care than any other advanced nation.  By a LOT.  But, someone is getting wealthy, very wealthy, on that system.  And a lot of folks lose everything, trying to get that healthcare; unlike all the other "advanced nations".

    2.  The US is the only "advanced" nation on the planet wherein high-speed internet is purchased, rather than provided by the Government.  And we pay more for our high-speed internet, especially in some areas, than any other advanced nation.  By a LOT.  But, someone is getting wealthy, very wealthy, on that system.  And a lot of folks don't have ANY internet access, at all.

    3.  The US is the only "advanced" nation on the planet wherein prisons are privately owned, rather than provided by the Government.  And we pay more for our incarceration, per person, than any other advanced nation.  By a LOT.  But, someone is getting wealthy, very wealthy, on that system.  (let's also include that the "most advanced nation on the planet" also has the greatest percentage of their own citizens incarcerated, rather than treated/trained/fixed).

    5.  The US, like other "advanced" nations on the planet, pays for postal service, nationwide, provided by the Government.  However, that is under full attack, by a wealthy republican donor who is now the Postmaster General of the US, and who owns stock in both FedEx and UPS, and is trying to destroy not only the US Postal Service, but also the only method for the poor to bypass voter suppression.  You can mail a birthday card to Dead Springs, WY for $0.52; under FedEx it will cost you $15.51 (IF it gets there!)  Someone, someone wants to get wealthy, very wealthy, on a new system.

    6.  The US is an "advanced" nation with the best Higher Education on the planet; it is purchased, rather than provided by the Government.  And we pay more for our Higher Education than any other advanced nation.  By a LOT.  But, someone is getting wealthy, very wealthy, on that system.  Not to mention the beautiful athletic facilities they can build.  And we can keep the "reaching" class, putting in the work, out, mostly.

    7.  The Citizens United decision by the Supreme Court allowed unlimited monies to flow to political candidates, and business/Wall Street flooded the republican party with donations, changing my party from "conservative" to "the party for the Wealthy" (soon to be changed to "the party of the Oligarchs").

    8.  A certain extremely wealthy capitalist (Rupert Murdoch) noted that a certain class of republicans could be swayed by mixing in just a bit of racism/mysoginy/ anti-semitism/conspiracy theory (Rush Limbaugh) and he founded Faux News, swinging half the US electorate into thinking the republicans were fighting for them, rather than the oligarchy (their wealthy supporters).  By hammering this in, over years, it's spread further, via Brietbart, the white Supremacists, the neo-nazis and now even the Q-Anon (strengthened, ever so slightly (now) by our current "Dear Leader", who also awarded the nation's highest civilian award to the same Rush Limbaugh).

    For what it's worth.
The UK is doing its best to follow.

1 / 4. Sections of our public health care are privatised and it's the current govt's intention to increase this.
    2. Ours is privatised and patchy in coverage.
    3. We have quite a few privately owned and run prisons.
    5. We still have a nationwide postal service for a flat rate, but it's getting more and more expensive.
    6. University fees are capped here, so don't reach US levels. Cap is £9.25k. All charge the max. They don't have expensive athletic programmes to pay for, college sport on TV / as an elite college sports programme isn't a thing here. The student loan company is privatised. Students pay nearly 6% on their education debt when base rates are at a fraction of 1%.
    7. Same here. The 'conservative' party is now in hock to large donors and represents their interests. Blatant corruption takes place and is ignored.
    8. Our press is appaling, Murdoch is a big player. He wants to start a Fox News style TV station as well. The press prop up the Conservatives. They use all of the populist / racist / anti-foreigner / anti-EU / UK exceptionalism myths to influence the electorate to vote against their best interests and in the best interests of the wealthy.

    I would add:

Low wages topped up by welfare support are the new norm. That means the state is subsidising businesses to pay people less than they can live on.

Fiscal conservatism is dead. The right now increase the deficit by lowering taxes, the left by borrowing more. People are offered this choice at the ballot box, never the choice of paying enough tax to fund services. We are all living on this borrowed money, producing a debt mountain for our kids to deal with.

Social conservatism is on the rise, promoting fear and separation, not the common interest of all people. This is used to divide and manipulate the population to keep them compliant. Finding 'someone else' to blame for peoples' problems is a deflection from government responsibility and policy.

The corporate state is alive and well. Sometimes it seems that the purpose of the state is to serve the large corporations, not the general population. Follow the money.

Finally a quote from Irvine Welsh, author of Trainspotting and all round good guy:

When you're not doing so well, vote for a better life for yourself. If you are doing quite nicely, vote for a better life for others.
