I suspect there’s really not any Democrat that Biden could have chosen for a running mate that would make you vote against Trump this November.

So an obese guy who had recent emergency cognitive testing is far more likely to finish a 4 year term than a guy who is active, fit, and (To my knowledge) has not needed emergency cognitive testing?

don't get me wrong, I would prefer anyone over Trump and most over Biden but I’ll say it again:

if after 4 years in office, your best argument is something the other candidate did wrong (hunter, Joe is too old etc) you are in trouble. If your only argument is “that guy is worse than me” URFUK’D

And to some extent that shows that progressives are idiots.  Biden has the most progressive agenda of any candidate with a chance to win in history, and Kamala has the 4th most progressive voting record in the Senate.

Biden picked her because of their personal relationship (and her friendship with Beau), and because she is who he would like to see as the Democratic front runner in 2024.

I currently don’t plan to vote for Pence for president. He has a couple of social issues that I can’t agree with. And I agree Trump let him feed to the fringe of the base as red meat. I could go into equivalent pandering to the left wing base that actually made it into the platform but I am going to have to stop for a few hours.
