Im not racist at all and yes most things I can let go easily but being called a racist because someone assumed i meant black people when I said rioters really pissed me off after I started thinking about it.

So you confirm it and deny it in the same sentence.  I read a thread today where you relentlessly attacked, insulted and made fun of medical problems RRP was going through over several months. I can link it if you would like. It was despicable. Pretty easy to find by reading your abuse posts.

@thetrim I appreciate the sentiment and support.  However, neither @YukonRon nor @DoubleEgger deserve to be called out.  They may have been involved, but it was on another thread.  The discussion was heated on both sides, only one person choose to go burn down the other thread.  I count both of them as friends and know they would never have thought this would be the outcome.

We all make mistakes, we all pick fights we shouldn't (believe me I know and have done it myself), and we poke at just the wrong time.

The world is crazy right now, and tempers are much shorter than usual.

In the end, it is what it is.  Hopefully, @The_Buffalo will reinstate it, but if not, I will start a new one as suggested by other members.

I've met both @YukonRon and @DoubleEgger multiple times and think very highly of the both of them.....  I don't agree with them all the time or even most of the time, but they're both great guys that I'd help out at any time if I were able and they'd do the same to just about everyone on here as well.

Dang it, that was the thread I felt ok with posting my mundane cooks in. When I open it on my work computer, where I’m not logged in, I was always reminded that it was started by someone hustling at bingo and @SGH dreaming of the good ole days.

While I do get the nostalgia of the original, a mtn bike forum I used to be on would get slow when a thread got too large and we had a long running “I rode my bike today” thread where we would just make a v2, v3, etc. for.

True ‘dat. Before I went off to the Navy, I’d never met an African American and admit I was a little afraid of them. While I was serving, my section mates were closer than brothers and I would have done anything for them- white and black. Now I work in a multi-cultural office, and get bent when family members make jokes about Apu. We’re all hyper sensitive to establishing our non-racism right now, and seem to be in competition about it. Maybe Lit and Double could cool down a bit, not apologize about the R word, and maybe just apologize for attacking each other in a tense time. We’ll solve that whole racism issue afterwards.
