I like Nickleback, just like I like McDonalds.  I know it ain't fine dining, but sometimes it hits the spot.

Apologies for not being able to join in myself last night.  The wife and I were on another Zoom call with friends in the neighborhood, one that ended up going much later than any of us had planned.  All in good fun.

Sounds like I missed a great session.  Happy to keep this thing up and running.

@JohnInCarolina surely she would have understood had you told her you had more pressing issues to attend to... =).

    Bump.

Not sure exactly what to suggest in the way of topics for tomorrow night, but here's a stab:

    1) Community
    2) Brotherhood
    3) Listening
    4) Dignity
    5) Bourbon
    6) Politics

Gotta remind us of the self-rules on the Friday night virtual watering hole gathering:  No politics and no religion.  Surely those subjects can be finessed around to make a point.   B)
Edit: welcome back @Botch.  Been quite a ride of late!

We try to avoid that one, along with religion.  We aren't always 100% effective, but so far I think we've managed pretty well and nobody has come to blows.  Of course it's harder to punch someone through a computer screen, so that could be part of the explanation...

I just reserved our spot for an event at a local vineyard for tomorrow night.   They are calling it sunset sippers.  Live entertainment, food trucks and such.  It will be the first time since all this madness started we have gotten together with our friends.   We have dubbed it "Lushes on the Lawn".   If I can manipulate the PC tomorrow when we get home I'll jump on for a hello @botch shout out.

I have wanted to attend one of these, but it looks like I won't make tomorrow either (obvious explanation). I do have some suggestions on topics.

    1. Gerbils and where they don't belong (NOLA may have already addressed this with his puppet shows)
    2. What to do if your neighbor says mean things?
    3. Why TF Toyota Tacomas are nowhere to be found after the stimulus payments.
