Thx for the assist. I was in and out and out and in for a while tonight. Out now, working on a project with SWMBO that I hope keeps me out for the rest of the evening. (Bow-chick-a-wow-wow).

It was awesome to see people and chat in the zoom for a bit. Thx to you all and especially to JIC for organizing and MC-ing!

Another extremely entertaining forum Zoom evening.  First up, thanks to @JohnInCarolina for facilitating this great shelter in place diversion and second for all who participated.  Always enjoy the dialog and the random nature of the topics at hand.  Learn too much every session.
Stay healthy and stay well.  Until the next round!

Living a pedestrian life, I plan to roll in, aiming for around 20:30  (EDT) aka 8:30 PM. See all for a great intro to the Memorial Day weekend.  I assure anyone who is conflicted about the posted topics, "no worries".
Never have adhered to the script and the sessions are a great stress reliever if needed.
Besides, participating can throttle your adult beverage consumption for a while.  So there's all that!  FWIW-

I could spend the entire time listening to @lousubcap tell "war stories"  especially with the up and coming holiday!

Another entertaining and still rolling session.  For you less aged challenged forum participants, jump on.  Great dialog, but prepared to take a trip down a dirt road or two.
Again, thanks to at @JohnInCarolina for facilitating this Friday event.
Be healthy , be safe and above all, have fun!

How did your virtual graduation ceremony go?  We had one here for our Masters and Doctoral students in the department.  I think we did a decent job with it but it is really difficult to come close to the real deal, just in terms of it feeling like a real celebration.

@Eoin we need to get on this.   It's been a long time since I pulled a night shift but perhaps we could negotiate an earlier start time?
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay

You guys definitely can.  I’m sure if you two were up for meeting some of us on a Friday or Saturday evening (UK time), we would have some takers here in the states willing to join early.  Just let me know what works for you two and I’ll make it happen.

These meet ups have caught my interest and keep thinking it would be fun to join in.  Couple issues prevent me, I'm introverted and have no camera on my PC.
One I can fix pretty easily, I think.
