And you MIGHT get drunk and have the following conversation:

DMW: “I need to get my ringhoff”

    NOLA: “What’s a ringhoff?”

(Those two lines were repeated numerous times until)

DMW: “I need to get my ring off otherwise my hand swells up while I sleep.”
I'm laughing, because my I just took my ring off.
Keeping the that kind of ring on for more than an hour can cause serious long term problems, sorry that you need a ring at all!

Those things are sneaky dangerous. Very easy to put a few back and then the hammer hits you on the backend.

The other option was Easter weekend.  It’s always something.

But it’s not like you need to watch the Masters this year when Tiger’s just going to win anyways....

Everybody's got a plan until the bourbon slushies start to flow.
I may be thinking of this wrong.  I was thinking that only those who have are well-drilled in their plan will be able to hold the plan together when the slushies hit the fan.

But this may be more of a "a plan is nothing.  planning is everything futile" situation.

    Planning?

"Social media gives legions of idiots the right to speak when they once only spoke at a bar after a glass of wine, without harming the community [...] but now they have the same right to speak as a Nobel Prize winner. It's the invasion of the idiots."

Hypothetically speaking, if someone were to send you more coolers, would that mean moar slushy?

    Asking for a friend...
He could always make his way closer and concoct in a neighboring state. Some of us happen to have coolers. Would require leaving a day early but ha....whatever it takes.

I am reminded of this:  When Mike Tyson was asked by a reporter whether he was worried about Evander Holyfield and his fight plan he answered; “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.”
And I'm sure it applies here. But at least it is only inhaling adult beverages.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

That is arguably Tyson’s best quote.  Man was he lethal in his prime.

    @johnnyP,

I hope you call your ELT buddy a SMAG every chance you get.

For those who might be wondering, and ELT is an Engineering Labratory Technician - responsible for water (reactor and steam generator side) chemistry, and radiological protection and control. They start out as a nuclear mechanic then selected few get additional training to become an ELT. Most notably known for spending up to 18 hours a day in their rack. Also, when asked “What’s primary (or secondary) chemistry” by the watch officer, the typical response is “What do you want it to be?”

Anyhow, SMAG has two potential meanings:

To everyone but ELTs it means “Subpar Mechanic, Always Gay.”

To ELTs it means “Superior Mechanic, Almost Godlike.”

I’m not sure if surface nuke weenies use SMAG or not, those guys are weird.

I loved every minute of the time I spent with Caliprince!
As I recall you really didn’t spend as much time “with” Caliprince as chasing him. I seem to recall he was always 10 - 15 yds ahead of you. But I’m old and my memory is suspect these days. 😊
Caliprince definitely had a good time . I remember him giggling and laughing a good deal with @piney while they were horsing around.

Funny thing is, caliprince doesn't know folks' names- he knows them by their forum handle. And has co-opted some of them as his own friends , instead of mine!
Well I hope I'm one of them!
