Been thinking about the potential possibility of not having enough Slushies at BB19 and here is my plan! Someone must have a small freezer they could bring and we can get it going at a camp site, then Ron can give us a class on how to make them, we would all bring our own ingredients and then we would all know how to make them and have an endless supply. So who has the freezer?

Ok just wondering who talked Kitty into sending my reservation form to an undeliverable address so it was returned? I would understand such a move if it was for Wing Ding!!!!

I will call Kitty and get things straightened out today.

This is really just a Friday morning BB19 bump!

I have a freezer that will be 1 mile away from the park that anyone can use along with my eggs. If that helps with your plan.
I drink cheap beer so I can afford good bourbon.

I totally understand the sentiment, but the reality is that the best thing you can do is to bring some friends along and sign them up to help eat all of the food!

As in past years we’ll likely have a donation jar out to raise money for a local food shelter.  Last year I think we raised several hundred dollars.

I'm riding solo and this is my cherry popper for egg fests/butt blasts so I don't feel comfortable coming out of the gate cooking for a crowd.  BUT I'm more than happy to help out where ever I can.  I'm a good sous-chef and can provide protein, tools...etc. I will have more food than I can eat and will share with anyone but wouldn't even know where to start as a registered cook.  Have I made enough excuses yet?!?!

No biggie.  If you want to bring something to cook we can cook it or there could be a chance you take it back home in case we don't.

@NCSmoky brought some sausages, kraut, and buns last yesrand thst was a great treat.

I get that too.  I didn't cook at the first Eggfest I went to in Salado for much the same reason.

Bring the BS along - we'll probably find a way to make use of it.  But yeah as Matt said above if you bring food, it's helpful if it's something that won't perish if it stays in your cooler.

It's helpful if you can, but we usually have plenty of cookers there for people to use.  As we approach the date, we'll be contacting everyone who has registered as a cook to coordinate the "menu".  At that time we can help figure out the schedule and let people know what will be available.

Thanks guys.  I'll bring the BS and stuff to cook that'll feed a lot more than me.  It'll be good late night stuff for the cooks and whoever else is hungry.  I'm really looking forward to it.

Our time at BB 1 was our first and we turned into sous chef/helpers. For a F’ing NC fan and Dook fan.  That’s messed up on so many levels.  You’ll fit right in brother.

Yeah right.  I couldn't fart straight without Brent being right behind me to sniff.  After I signed his shirts and all, we finally got some cooking done.

    Barring a catastrophe, I’m in.

Adam and I are planning on cooking in an eggfest in early May and are going to churn out a lot of food as a trial run cooking together.  but, we’re  both traveling and wont be in position to bring eggs.

Anyone want to lend us a Large for the event Saturday? (Were actually looking for the use of 2). We will cook enough food to make sure you’re part of contributing more than your fair share.
