Got a new electronic caliper arriving tomorrow from Shars...
    https://www.shars.com/aventor-12-dps-ip54-electronic-caliper

I have the 6" version already. Decided I needed a longer one as well since I'm actually working on some materials that will be longer than 6" when the machining is finished. Easier to just get the 12" version. A friend of mine has a 6" and 8" (different calipers). I almost went with the 8" but figured for the small price difference I'd be better off with the 12". That way I won't be looking to get the 12" later on when the 8" isn't long enough.

theres going to be alot of auction sites come fall and very few buyers, things will be exceptionally inexpensive. keep an eye out

I am also looking for a poe camera system, only need 3-4 cameras though.

Would be nice to tie it into a network with my router, and drop a jack behind the tv for my roku. But I dont know anything about setting up a home network
I'll let you know what I come up with.  I will be buying 4 camera 8 chan DVR, PoE.  I got internet at my shop to upload and monitor.
@nolaegghead did you get a system yet? If so, what did you end up with?

I am looking for a system for 5-6 POE cameras and can also handle 2 wireless all recording to a local drive.  I know next to nothing about these systems and am starting to do my research. Like anything else it is a rabbit hole once you start reading up on them.

It took a while to get this mower, virus shipping delays. My ride on got stolen when we were on holiday in February and I've nowhere secure to store it. Not buying another and waiting for the scumbags to come back, so I've gone for a commercial grade mulching walk behind and got a deal on last year's model of commercial battery strimmer as well. The mower has a Honda engine, which is a bonus.

My latest is one from SVS and likely my favorite I have owned.

Upgraded from a bowers sub to a massive SVS. Couldn’t be more impressed with it! Love my svs sub.

Picked up a few new accessories from CGS.  I’ll be able to do all of the setups for what I currently know how to cook with these pieces.  Talking with Tom is always great!

I looked at the BGE eggspander and decided that an AR with half stones was the way to go...I also saved some money going the CGS route.

@lkapigian, your photo reminds me of a chorizo my wife bought recently. Is the outside safe to eat? Thanks.

Thank you @Sea2Ski no case hardening at all....I can't wait for the Basterma, it will be a bit different than traditional but hoping for a deeper less " Strong" flavor

So the AR I bought a day and a half ago already arrived!  Wow, really fast free shipping by CGS.  Anyway, this may be a dumb question, but is the cross bar in the pics just to keep the AR from getting out of round during shipping?  Do y’all keep it and have other uses for it?

I assume it’s used to hold up one end of your grids or stone. Don’t pitch it.

Yeah, the cross bars that are supposed to come with the AR we’re in the box.  This bar has 2 tabs welded to it, just inside the risers.

Just bought a Igloo cooler. All the Dollar Generals around my house have them on the reduced isle for 9 bucks. Yes the sticker says 25 bucks but they ring up 9. I know it’s not a rotomolded cooler, but for 9 bucks it makes a heck of a knock around cooler.

@SGH -   great deal.  Congrats.   I have a soft spot for Igloo coolers as I have 4 of them in different sizes.  Perfect for a half-day load of beer and ice.  Near as I can remember the more mature are 35+ years old.  They fall into the nostalgia camp with me, right along with the great Weber cookers.  I need to get me one for old times sake.  Enjoy the new acquisition.

I agree 100% brother Cap. No matter what comes and goes there will always be a good ole Weber and Igloo on Horton hill. They are American icons.

A mystery pack of 4 Hoo Rags. They should help with paint splatter, sun burn, and can make a fair improvised mask while leaving the N95's for medical personel.https://www.hoorag.com/bulk-bandanas/mens-mystery-full-face-bandana-4-pack/ I hope to get at least one good camo pattern for hunting season. Hopefully they aren't shipping from China.
