they are building an Ace here in Madison, Al, hoping they will have it as the closest place to me is about an hr drive one way.  I got my first bag last week and I am hooked so without them selling it, I will be ordering it online soon.

Sounds like you talk to someone that didn't know how or didn't want to do it.  There are dozens of stores across KY that stock it and order special order it for customers.  Sorry for your experience.  You can order from our website.  Soon you'll be able to order on acehardware.com and select that store as delivery point......then show that employee that couldn't get it done for you.

@stlcharcoal stopped at a different ace dealer on the way home from work and he ordered for me no problem. $24.99 and no shipping. Says i can pick it up this Friday.

@Kent8621 I’m in Huntsville as well and delivered to my door is still more convenient than Madison. I’ve never been willing to make the 40 mile trek to an Ace, so online is the way to go for me. I still try to put the bug in the ear of any local dealer I talk to. No one has bitten yet.

yeah its on hughes road down near the Y, I mean they just started but its only 10 min for me so I cant wait.

That’s close enough that I would take advantage of some of these Ace coupons that everyone talks about, but online will still be my primary source.

It's probably the opposite......lump takes the beating, but the box is in perfect shape!  Haha

The settling of the lump in the bag reminds me of the notice on potato chip bags explaining why the bag is 1/3 full “package sold by weight not volume. Some settling of contents may occur.”

Too bad there’s no way to settle the lump so that it stays tight in the box.

Vacuum sealed bags. The bag will be like one solid chunk.

Hi all, first post here. I was the 2nd person that was able to get the new box. Sorry for the delay in posting, was waiting on confirmation!

As Tony_T posted before, the new box held up great all the way to NC!

New boxes will be here next week, so we taped the hell out of the current ones.

Nice came Saturday. Though appears I have the old style, which apparently isn't used, so I'll not waste space posting my pictures. Box was roughed up some, but not too bad.
