If my taxes over all these years (i.e.. "decreased government funding") are now suddenly being deemed to be "insufficient"...I have a solution:

Publish the yearly salaries, benefit packages, tenure contracts, career earnings (bogus patents, spin-off businesses, 'non-profits', etc.) created using public facilities that no other taxpayer can access on each college website.

Most public colleges and universities do precisely this already.  You can look up the salary of any faculty member in the UC system, University of Texas, Ohio, Michigan...

And I bet most people will be more upset about associate professors making $90k than about football coaches making $3 million+, because, you know, priorities.
explains why my public college costs are so high here now, the average makes 176000 per year.

That's also true of any public employee salary in many states.

In my state (Virgina) public employee salaries are public information though some municipalities go out of their way to make that difficult to obtain, The Virginia General Assembly had a bill this year to change the law so that name/salaries of any public employee making under $30K/annum would remain private and also that the names of any employee regardless of salary would no longer be public info but the title and salary could remain public info. Due to public outcry that bill was defeated this session.

Do college coaches bring in more money? The physics department probably doesn't pay for all the other sports nobody comes to watch.

Colleges and Universities are obviously just like Scientology, in which converts are brainwashed and hand over piles of their parents' money to celebrity professors.  I'm really just surprised nobody's figured this out until now.

Why have college sports at all?  Let MLB, NBA, NFL, etc pay for their own training programs rather than having taxpayers provide more corporate support for extremely wealthy individuals and organizations.

Because extremely wealthy individuals wouldn't get extremely extremely wealthy.

Of the 1000+ schools in the NCAA only a few dozen have athletic department income that exceeds their expenses.

So since not even the "big sports" at most colleges cover their own costs they surely aren't covering the costs of "lesser" sports.

Don't forget about having things shoved down your throat!  Conservatives always mention that, for some reason.

It's weird...I'm an old white guy and I don't feel like I'm being pushed around or having stuff shoved down my throat. Nor do I go around pushing people about or shoving things down their throats.

I reckon I must just be living in the wrong (right?) part of the US.

It was not meant to be an attack on you personally.  I was just quoting things Trump supporters have said.

I know people that benefitted from the affordable care act and I know people that were negatively impacted.  Neither for me, my insurance costs go up almost every year, but not dramatically.

What happened with you Fred, how has impacted you so far?
    Love you bro!

@SGH believes that gays are very sick people.  To prove his point, he propositions strange men to suck his Johnson.  I just happen to be his latest victim, because I quoted Seinfeld's "not that there's anything wrong with that" to a group text.

I wish any or all of that was made up.

The sixth commandment (presented well before modern abortion as referred to in this thread, BTW) refers to 'killing'.
How do you know that abortion is 'killing'?

    Please be specific.
    Please.

Dictionary definition of kill;  "to deprive of life in any manner"
    Well, that settles it.
    Thanks.
