I need that for my bar tab from last week when I was traveling...

    Not quite that bad...

Could spring for the extra $0.39 to make it 20%?

@DMW- That ticket could represent many deals...Pounding doubles at that rate yields an outcome of its own while a business deal would suggest a split.
But if corporate $$ I would up the bourbon selection next go round.  FWIW-

@northGAcock - being land bound presents some challenges but I generally do run "submerged and undetected" in any capacity.  @YukonRon is such a welcoming individual that once I saw him sitting there looking forlorn and definitely not appreciating his place in the immediate higherarchy I knew an intervention was needed.  Too bad all the adult beverage options were closed.

@Ozzie_Isaac - In my recent advanced youth (well before my current age) the company did not require any segregation of expenses within a specific charge. Thus the "demon rum" was acknowledged as a cost of doing business.  Given that it was a family owned small business (150 or so employees) with many less on the road it was " all good."  Moderation was expected and never questioned. I never did find the outer limit.

Ours used to have a 3 drink limit. Then, as usual, someone ruined it.

They ordered 3 shots of some $50/shot something or other. We found out exactly who it was. Word got out (we are a smaller company) that it was a lone trip and he was not entertaining clients. When questioned about it, he made a big deal and fought paying it back stating that there was nothing stating limits so he was in the right.... blah blah blah..... So the policy was changed and the allowance is now $25/day, and must be purchased with a meal.

To add insult to injury, the guy is no longer here. Despite lobbying they will not reversed it back to how it was.

Oh well, something is better than nothing.... but $25 ain't much when out.

Too bad the men's curling final airs live at 1:35 AM (EST) Sat.  Friday night would have to exceed great expectations for me to be around for that match.

Probably paid cash, dealers don't like CC fees.  Then was honest on his personal reimbursement.  Honesty is not appreciated these days.
