Yea I struggled with high school, **** I struggled with school through my whole life, it wasn't until I got into the working world that I started to thrive. I taught myself to write basic unix scripts to automate my companies manufacturing process at a voicemail company that I worked at,, then I taught myself to write code that could automatically run tests overnight for functional, stress, and performance testing, then I automated the entire build process so if an engineer checked in a code change, a build would kick off, which would trigger automated tests, and within 30-40 minutes of a code change, you would know if anything major was broken by the checkin. At the time it was cutting edge, now It's just part of the normal software development process. Never a single day in college, almost flunked out of high school, yet in the real world I came alive. I was just not a student, and trying to learn that structured way really messed me up for a long, long time,, because it made me feel stupid and that I couldn't understand what the other kids did. Yet, when I got into the real world, I totally got into trying to understand how things worked and I thought of ways to make it easier and better. I thrived once I got into an environment like that but school really messed me up.
Can you write some code to filter your egghead forum posts?
Hey!  Long posts is good posts.
Just 'cause you love school so much that you're still there. As a grown up and all.

FYI @Ybabpmuts my theory has always been that school is over-rated.  I failed to understand it from day #1.
Well that seems rather personal.  You know it’s not my fault you spent all that time in school and never learned that you don’t buy a home without carefully checking out the roof!
If only any of the lessons were that meaningful.  However I did devote a considerable proportion of lesson time to checking that the outside was still in its correct location, just beyond the window.   Well, someone had to do it and I took one for the team.

I wouldn't pay 1/10th the average sale price of a TS ticket ($1,623) to see her, but her concert has been filmed and its supposed to hit theaters this fall, and early shows have already sold out.  The nice thing about movies, though, is they'll keep a feature in the theaters as long as they're filling seats, so no rush (to be honest though, I still haven't gone to a movie theater in decades).

Wonder how much TS and party paid for their NFL tickets....

@Botch- I don't view many films on the big screen but Top Gun Maverick and Oppenheimer were definitely worth the experience.

You should see Oppenheimer while it’s still in the theaters, @Botch.  I tell you what - I’ll even pay for your ticket.

Dang it. I have to watch that. I had looked up tickets because we have the whatever millimeter is the preferred method to view it. And then an employee wrecked the film and they had to wait for another copy to come in.  I'll have to check it out.

Those were two of the three I swore I'd go see in the theater (can't remember the third one, it came out after the original Spider Man flick sometime in the '00s)

You were dicing for 47 hours and that's all you got out of it., one giant UP Pasty.

My cousin Badelia didn't dice a thing in her life but she got someone of the opposite sex excited just once ... and next thing you know she has new undies AND a couple of new pasties. It took all of four hours.

Your brunoise needs a little more practice. Another 47 hours ought to do it. :)

@CPFC1905 - That is a coal fired time machine from the 1920's.  For highest date/time accuracy preliminary research indicates Missouri hard wood lump is best.  It's a hybrid and will also function on a A and B battery.  If I get it going on coal some of those will be picked up on the first trip back.
