    Just booked tix to Oppenheimer on Monday.  Heard the theater release is limited but likely marketing hype.
    Edit-given the 3 hour duration, I will refrain from breakfast beers.

    My son works at one of local theaters, he said there were around 300 people booked for the theater they were showing it in.

    Definitely want to see Openheimer.  I personally think Christopher Nolan is the best currently active director.  On par with Steven Spielberg and James Cameron and way better than Peter Jackson.

    He is known for Lord of the Rings, but also done a Harry Potter Movie, a new King Kong.  He was supposed to be the greatest director of all time, but LoR was really all he has done that is worthwhile.  That is good, but over rated.

    It's Friday morning and my Pavlovian response causes me to post, but we're still three weeks short of the football season (it's a ball and they use their foot).

    But, word reaches these shores of some splendid throw-ballers called;
    General Booty
    Dude Person, and
    De-Coldest Crawford.

    Well done you guys.  We have to limp along with players called Dave, Dan, Barry, or Steve and the like.
    Other girls may try to take me away
    But you know, it's by your side I will stay

    If you are in Maui, why on earth are you watching YouTube?
  • Just made a new batch of slushies. I cut back on the water and sugar. I used the rest of a bottle of JD Ole No 7 to do a bottle kill. We’ll see how this turns out with the low proof.

    @GrateEggspectations - beautiful bike route right there.  Way to enjoy the day.  Nice groceries as well.

    We usually stay on the east side of the range when we head up there. This time we are staying in Mammoth Lakes. The kids wanted the mountains this year instead of the ocean.

    Yes! The Mobile station in Lee Vining at the beginning to Tioga Pass is one of our favorite places to eat. They have a buffalo meatloaf that is great.

    Hmm.  7x2=14  14 does not equal 20.

    This one this year is the 17th Congress.  Twenty years ago, the 7th Congress was held.  (17-7)x2 does equal 20.
