No such thing as “more than I should have”.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum. -
It was an early Saturday morning for me. I successfully stole my Dad's truck out of his driveway at 4:15am without anyone noticing. I brought it back home and swapped out wheels for an early Father's Day present.
Since they were brand new Bronco take off wheels, I couldn't leave the Bronco center caps on them.
So I ordered a set of black and chrome Ford center caps from the local dealer.
My Dad never liked how the trucks exhaust looked. He thought the exhaust looked like some cheap pipe conduit hanging down. He talked about painting it at one point. So I put that on the list of things to do. (I forgot to take a picture of the exhaust beforehand but I found a stock one online.)
So I hit it with some satin Krylon high high heat paint and added a black chrome tip.

I was able to sneak the truck back up to their place about 8am this morning for a surprise. It was a success!
Before and after with the wheels:

The wheels give the truck a whole new look. I wasn't sure what my Dad's thoughts were going to be with the new bigger, heavier, wheels. Especially when his old tires only have 500 miles on them. To my surprise he really enjoys the new wheels. That was a huge relief. Nothing like sleeping for an hour or two last night and moving at 100mph this morning and not knowing how the outcome was going to go. Success!

What a great plan and execution right there. That really upped his ride. I'm quite sure you both consider yourselves lucky. I recall he has quite a shop of tools and equipment that have played major roles in grill/smoker restoration.Great gift!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Fellows this is handier than 400 hells. Should have bought it years ago. It makes moving trailers a breeze.

I like hitches mounted on the front of equipment for moving trailers around. Although nothing wrong with that setup either!SGH said:Fellows this is handier than 400 hells. Should have bought it years ago. It makes moving trailers a breeze.

I like this so much I’m thinking about doing a front mount as well. Just having this instead of the truck is an unbelievable difference.Ozzie_Isaac said:I like hitches mounted on the front of equipment for moving trailers around. Looks like a great time ahead. On a separate note, what’s it like to have unlimited money? Is it as nice as I imagine?JohnInCarolina said:At the beach house for a week. See you on the other side.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Me on the dislike. I hate wasps. Zero purpose on this planetAcn said:

Wasps are predators, feeding insects to their young. What makes them beneficial is that they prey on many insects, including caterpillars, flies, crickets, and other pests. What makes them a pest is in late summer and fall they alter their tastes and go after sweets such as an open can of coke.Acn said:I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Sitting in a campground just across the river from Québec. Fired up the Ooni and made a couple pies.

First was mashed potatoes, bacon, onion, and fresh mozz. A few dollops of sour cream after it came out:
Next was pepperoni, ham, prosciutto, bell pepper, and fresh mozz. Add a spritz of Frank’s Red Hot for a little heat:
Washed it down with a local Raspberry Sour.MMBGE / Large BGE / XL BGE (Craigslist Find) / SF30x80 cabinet trailer - "Ol' Mortimer" / Outdoor kitchen in progress.

Thanks. These crusts have actually been in the freezer for the past two weeks. Put them in the fridge last night, and then let them come to room temp on the counter for an hour before opening them. I was pleasantly surprised with how well they turned out.shtgunal3 said:MMBGE / Large BGE / XL BGE (Craigslist Find) / SF30x80 cabinet trailer - "Ol' Mortimer" / Outdoor kitchen in progress.

I have been reading the forum around midnight Alaska time, weird it’s 4 am east coast pretty quiet out here. I watched (it was probably 200 yards away so hard to see) a bobcat or lynx climb a tree and eat magpie eggs tonight while I was fishing.
