The ducks are back at the pool.
Took the dog on a ride to drop off kids.
Bought $300 worth of plumbing supplies to keep on hand for repairs. These 2" PVC compression couplers are pure gold. I don't care that they are making $30 each on me.

Working on adding a few water spigots to some campsites.... Sunday is when "summer" starts for me

Yeah.... The China ones are $16.78. The made in USA ones are $26.something.

For this I'll talk to a guy behind a counter for $32 each. (Probably made in China too! 🤣)

We import PVC and fittings from China.  Hard to avoid.

Man Utd v Everton, Sean Dyche has introduced sufficient obduracy to the Toffees so Utd should not see this as the cake-walk it may have been a few months back. But, 3rd place is on their agenda and the full set of points a must. 2-0

Villa v Forest, the hosts have hoisted themselves to 7th! Astonishing news and in full juxtaposition to the faltering guests.  The likely home win will see Forest amongst the relegation spots, maybe permanently. 2-1

Brentford v Newcastle, the Toon have the bit back between their teeth and scored goals for fun against the Hammers mid-week.  The Bees are different gravy and an away win will require cunning and guile.  Good test, good game probably. 1-2

Fulham v West Ham, the hosts are off the back of three straight defeats and to all intents and purposes seem to have ended their season early. However their guests are in the mire, albeit a win will make a demonstrable difference to their chances of survival. Such is the knife edge just above the relegation spots. 0-2 and Davie Moyes lives to fight on.

Leicester v Bournemouth, a pivotal match for the relegation contenders with 19th welcoming 18th. A gut wrenching nerve shredding encounter as both teams are abject and in dire need of points. A draw helps neither in the long term, but could boost the Cherries up two spots out of the drop-zone. A horror show of a match or an absolute hum-dinger equally likely. 1-0

Spurs v Brighton, 5th host 6th - what? How? Are you sure? The filthy Seagulls are in better form, just - and Spurs are finding their way without a manager.  Despite its lofty stature, this match is largely meaningless. So, 2-2

Wolves v Chelsea, Super Frank Lampard is back back back.  The self-induced crisis club have gone all Marty McFly to retrieve a manager from their past, who’s done little but stumble at lesser clubs since he was sacked as Chelsea manager. Your guess is as good as mine for this one. Wolves need points, Chelsea need a CRTL ALT Delete. 1-1

Leeds v Palace, oooh - the feisty one.  A real tipping point for whichever team wins this as it pushes them over the 30 point threshold and eases them further away from the real maelstrom amongst the bottom several clubs.  The mighty Eagles ‘smash glass in case of emergency’ strategy of bringing back our own Yoda in the form of Roy Hodgson worked a treat last week. A passionate draw, not in the Jack in Titanic sense, most likely 1-1.

Liverpool v Arsenal, the Reds are pushing very hard to be the worst good team in all history.  Were it not for the face self-punching Chelsea then they would have that accolade in the bag.   The Gunners are really feeling the force now and will revel in smashing a few past their long time nemesis. 0-2.

So perhaps you’re reading this on Good Friday, perhaps you’re ignoring it on Good Friday.  Perhaps it’s Tuesday and this is beyond academic. We really do live in exciting times.
