Tooth implant $$$ but better than dentures.
Implants are just dentures done one at a time and with screws instead of glue.
Considering that I have one I don’t consider them dentures.

It’s the formula for the deflection of a cantilevered beam subjected to a point load.  Ozzie tells me a girl in a bar once told him he could take her home with him if he could explain it to her (I am skeptical of this).

what is the cheapest way to do a 1040 EZ now?  I have used a CPA for 10 years now and my son needs to file.  I used to use turbo tax online.  Is that still satisfactory?

1040 EZ, I believe can be filed for free at IRS.gov, you may also be able to do it for free via TurboTax.

Prior to having a CPA, I always used TurboTax with decent luck.  Now with multiple LLCs and other assorted complications I find a CPA well worth it.

100% true.  I was just getting out my beam for demonstration when the bouncer flung me out the door.  I tried to explain to him, but simple statics did not interest him.  Never did see the girl again.

    I disliked this for outcome.

Closest I’ve come to this is a young lass in a cafeteria in Los Alamos saying she’d sleep with any man who could explain weak* convergence to her and being completely paralyzed because I wasn’t sure I 100% understood it myself.  I wasn’t sure how I’d feel the next morning if it turned out I’d made a mistake, especially if it still made sense to her!

Well, just don’t lose any more teeth I suppose.  It’s all fun and games until you walk out of the dentist’s office looking like Gary Busey.

Taxact.com is where I do mine, and have been for years.  The basic free file plus state should be enough.  I find it easier to use and more intuitive than turbo tax.

@Botch fwiw I had an Optima redtop that lasted almost 20 yrs, I heard the same brand is not as good as they used to. My van's hood release has been wonky the past few years due to neglect, it feels loose and hood won't pop, thankfully I can grab the hood deflector and pull it up to access the latch.

I lost count of how many implants I have, probably 4  :)  Have fun  ;)

Just out for lunch with my daughter. She got a gold at a piano competition this morning. Proud of her for competing; the mark was a bonus.
Great father-daughter time right there.  Congratulations on the award.

Karma is finally paying me back in battery life in my old age.  In '12 the battery in my Saab died during USAFR duty in Tooele UT; got a jump and stopped at the Checker Auto for a new batt on the way home.  The tech who changed it out for me pulled the old battery, looked at me funny, and asked "You buy your batteries from the Saab dealer?!?"  I said hell no, in fact, have I ever bought a battery for this car?  He scraped some dirt off and we learned it was the OG battery, also about 12 years old!

Payback for my HS/college/Lt years: batteries always dying during a blizzard, -20˚ plus windchill, attempted theft that was interrupted but they managed to break off a battery post  :anguished: , 1-mo-old battery that internally shorted during another snowstorm, cheep jumper cable that snapped off  in the cold; ugh.

Disconnected the charger this afternoon, Taco started right up (She coughed a couple times, but then ran fine).  I lowered the hood but blocked it up a bit in case the battery dies overnight (the cable's still not fixed, and another snowstorm is rolling in tonight).  Not sure what will be happening tomorrow; it will involve money...  :|
