Corporate raiders personafied right here, "Chainsaw AL"

Folks of that ilk were known as Leveraged Buyout Organizations (LBO's) a generation or so ago.  Those got a bad name for some reason, so they switched to VC's.  Vulture Capitalist is the most apt name for them.
Private equity.  I went through about six years of that.  I didn't hate it.

Packing. Hoping I-10 friendlier to us than it was Tuesday. Miss my kids and my pups.

Good conference, new owners….scary times as a vendor
What is driving the vendor concerns?  Recession, interest rates, overall uncertainty, or are there other more specific factors at play impacting the food industry?
New owners, CEO, CFO, and Supply Chain coordinator. Ownership is a VC group.
Any time the VC's are in the game, hang on for the ride.  The "right sizing" and squeezing the company for the max return is the game.  Then sell,  sell sell.
    The cycle never ends.

Hard to hang on when you’ve been replaced. New President has 30+ years in the field. Just hate driving away knowing I didn’t get enough face time with the new executive team

Haha, that would be like her mother (real dog mother) that turned 10 today. She is off to the side sleeping. She's a therapy dog that visits the local hospital, likes people, but outdoors, not so much

Stuck in the quote box again. Anyway I think i'd rather deal with some snow and mosquitoes than anything venomous. Visit Arizona fairly often and that stuff gives me the heebie jeebies, just not used to it I guess

A junk man knocked on the door a couple of hours ago. He wanted to know if he could have that “broke grill behind the house “. I said “no and if it disappears I Will be calling the police”. Then I let my 85 pound Boxer stick his head out the front door.

Asking when your roof was last replaced, based on my experience.

The health department has been on my case about discharging my pool water into the sanitary sewer.  For the past 40 years it's been fine to discharge onto the ground.  Well today the sanitary sewer received 45,000 gallons of pool water. Plumbing done. Going to re-epoxy.

How are you paying for the use of the sewer? Usually the bill is based upon water usage. Pools are usually filled with bulk trucks and not metered. Lastly, there are restrictions on what you can and cannot discharge or dump into a sanitary system. Good luck.

  • Just dropped this on the pavers and broke a tab.  Double farts!

Located my 16oz Sweetwater IPA repair kit. Music provided by Southern Culture on the Skids. Works!  Much less farty. Well, for now as we give the IPA some time to work.

For some reason just not interested in those.  Their drip pan is nice.
