You are so correct…I have at least one major regret in my life which I will always bang my head.about.Ozzie_Isaac said:I really forget the year now but maybe late “80s or early ‘90s. I had received one of the private invitation tickets given to non-CAT employees to attend that MAJOR event out at CAT’s demo grounds near Edwards, IL. I have since heard the talented - yes - I’m quite sure…very talented union employees - who demonstrated many different CAT products and put on quite a show!
Unfortunately, I had to attend some bull sh*t meeting in Chicago at the bank where I was employed at that time and was unable to attend that CAT product demo!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -

Luckily there is 0% chance of meeting me professionally, I am out of town for the weekend. But as always, thank you for paying my salary. Enjoy your time, sorry for the sh!tty weather today. Stay away from Naked City, it isn’t as fun as the name implies, and anything within a few blocks east and west of The Strip. Other than that, enjoy your time. Vegas has A LOT more to offer than you will find on the main drag.BigreenGreg said:Landed in @Battleborn ‘s town and hoping to not meet him in a professional sense. Would love to otherwise. I highly recommend Fremont Street. Family friendly fun for all!! No matter what your proclivity is you can find it there! Coke, gambling, meth, whores, midgets, and tooth fairy's. Everything is there!Battleborn said:

All official operations are at Red Rock. After your post above, I may just stay there. Always happy to help out @Battleborn.LBGE, 36" Blackstone, Anova ProCharleston, SC

Great spot, not too far from my stomping grounds. Red Rock is down the street and if you have access to the correct vehicle, Mount Charleston is a quick 30 minute drive. A good amount of snow this year. A lot of great eats in the casino and area as well. Enjoy your time, let me know if you need recommendations.BigreenGreg said:All official operations are at Red Rock. The city has done a good job of making Downtown (Fremont) better recently. Coke is not real big down there, Bellagio, Venetian and Paris are the places for that. Meth and toothless prostitutes are still a Downtown staple.Ozzie_Isaac said:

Passing a kidney stone. Last, and only, time I was on Fremont street was early 2002. I didn’t leave anything there.

Nope , the big problem is that they make me nauseous. That isn’t good for a type two diabetic. The first one I have had since 2004.JohnInCarolina said:

Glad you don’t get them often. I had one years ago and it was plenty terrible. Through the research I do on lithotripsy I’ve learned that some people get them fairly often and it’s pretty debilitating, especially when surgical intervention is needed.Gulfcoastguy said:

I used to get them every other year. An old man at a vitamin store turned me onto magnesium citrate. That has apparently reduced the frequency by 90%. Luckily mine are like a bunch of grains of sand that occasionally clump up. Normally they pass without even my knowledge.JohnInCarolina said:

Thanks for the Reaffirmation.

Productive day. I began by installing some bathroom fixtures as of 4am this morning (as renos in two bathrooms are finally nearing completion; I have spent the last several days painting). Then swapped from winter tires to summers on both cars. Then shopped for supplies and performed oil changes on both (that Outback is a massive pain!). Now about to shower and head to a neighbour’s place for dinner. Glad my to do list is that much shorter for tomorrow.

Nice score on the roofing elastomer. Have never used it, but I’ve been tempted as of late. We hate the colour of our roof but aren’t quite ready to replace it altogether. For anyone who has used it before, how did you find the results? -
Every 3-5 years we recoat our roof. We use elastomeric coatings. Have done hot tar and pea gravel also. I like working with the elastomeric a lot more.GrateEggspectations said:@nolaegghead

Playing with Corned Beef, thought why not… Desalinated a Point , toasted some Coriander and Peppercorn , mixed with cornmeal ( ala Pitina) hung in the chamber naked … it will either be a hit or miss
