My girlfriend surprised me with my “own” tree since I wanted colored lights and she doesn’t.
She made the executive decision we are not having a full sized tree on the ground since the puppy is in the chew everything stage… and she made the comment neither one of us wants to re-pay for her designer tree a second time…
I just said yes ma’am and thank you
And yes those are shotgun lights

I am planning on adding a labradoodle to the household in the Spring as soon as I can locate one that is. Goldendoodles everywhere and I have to be picky🤷🏼. I’m contemplating a 23&Me test to affirm my Jewish ancestry after replacing 100:bulbs with no success in illuminating a section of this tree.

I went ahead and did the health option also. It warned me that I inherited 1 of 2 genetic markers for macular degeneration. I got that from my mother. The ancestry part surprise was that the Choctaw Indian ancestor 6 or 7 generations back was actually of West African ancestry, a whole 0.4% showed up. Check the wires and the splices. I had a section out and it wasn't a bulb. It was one of the splices. SWMBO started decorating the house after Halloween and had the new tree we had to buy this year up before we went out of town for Thanksgiving. She finished decorating it the other day. Christmas is her super-bowl I guess you could say. I paid extra for a sideways hanging tree
