I am actively looking for a suitable refrigerator or freezer to convert. The COVID adds a layer of complexity - just items in stock, getting to pick it up, etc.  but it’s going to happen.
    Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Use your regular fridge, not perfect , just a couple tweaks

@lkapigian My wife will veto that... She thinks I already have enough things in the fridge that are “alive”, lol.

Waiting for a reply from the mothership... Sent an email regarding warranty issues almost a month ago.
Call them. The notoriously do not answer warranty emails
I did, quite a few times actually... Just getting an answering machine.
Ended up contacting them on Facebook, they told they´d reach out to Bruce... Let´s see...

I've got a nice buck hanging around the property. He's in velvet and already outside of his ears. I'll be curious to see how he looks in October. I may have to get the Marlin 512 out come fall :)

Did not realize Bass Pro bought Cabela's.

cabelas is kinda disapointing for me once we got the store, liked it much better when we just had the big book

Cabelas 2013 Limited Fall Edition Cabelas Amazoncom Books

I don't know if they're having financial woes or what, but something has seemed off with our local Cabela's ever since it opened. The inventory seems sparse and as a result not seeing the foot traffic that I would have expected.

i dont go there anymore for anything fishing, they dont carry the gear for our local fisheries except for bass and theres better places around for bass lures. if i need something like a transmitting bird collar i go in but its like once in 5 years and the points on the cabalas card  says its free =)

I thought RTIC was supposed to be "as good" as YETI? I just got my RTIC Gallon Jug and the plastic lid is incredibly flimsy and cheap feeling.

When I was a kid, my favorite catalog after the Sears Christmas catalog was Herter's. Used to read them and dream of great adventures. Even bought some fishing gear through them when I had mowed enough lawns to have some dough! Long gone in reality, but Cabela's now owns the name.

He was shot on the last hunt of the last day of primitive weapon season with about 20 minutes to spare. Passed on a wider 6pt with no brow tines. He walked out at about 250 yards on a frozen rope towards the stand. Shot him inside of 75 yards. Makes all those long days in the stand worthwhile

Just got her detailed.  Up for sale.  42' Fifth wheel is gone.  Going to travel trailer now.  (shorter trips and all of us can fit in one vehicle)
    Beautiful truck!  What year?
2012.  I really like this truck.  Lots of fun pulling 17,000 lbs up the mountains at speed.  Also amazing is the hill descent control.  I just don't need the wide hips anymore.  I will be keeping an eye out for a SRW version. . . maybe next year.

Watching a couple red-shouldered hawks hunt the backyard. They're pretty aggressive.
Love their call.  I had a pair nesting in my backyard this spring,
I saw one kill a dove in my Dad’s backyard a few years ago . It stooped down and sank it’s talons into the dove. Then it kept “bouncing “ up then slamming the dove into the ground. Totally vicious.
I’ve never seen these feed on other birds, although I know they do - I’ve seen them with small snakes many times.  Unless soaring, they’re frequently heckled by crows or blue jays - the hawks seem to do their best to ignore them.

Playing with my new toy. My wife got me a Traeger Ranger for Father’s Day. I “burnt it off” today and am currently making naan pizzas for the inaugural cook. I really like this thing so far. It will definitely pair well with the mini and/or small while RV’ing.

It also comes with a cast iron griddle which will be great for bacon & eggs while camping.
Welcome to the Ranger club, you’ll love it. Perfect for small cooks, comes to temp quick, and sips on pellets.
I have the earlier version with square tube handle and older controller. I grounded the griddle smooth and reseasoned but have not used it yet; also replaced the skinny porcelain enamelled grill with a 9 mm stainless one salvaged from a Weber Summit gasser.

Just took delivery of this Heartbrand Akaushi beef brisket-15.5 lbs (website advertises that they will ship at around 11 lbs).  My lucky day.

Wet aging for 3-4 weeks then banquet time.
    Good eats for sure!

Finally getting rid of our land line.  $20 a month for the privilege of being called by people asking for money.  Don’t know why we waited this long.
