Looks like a perfect universal fit to me.

I must apologize, you appear to not be at the laughing stage of the boondoggle yet.  I was making a joke.  (Not a good one I admit).

Can you switch out the mount with your old one?
I like the thought but unfortunately I can't switch them. Fortunately I have the day off to go and grab the correct parts at the local part store tomorrow.

Ha! I assumed you were joking but hard to read people sometimes.

I went four or five years on the forum without adding any emojis as I hate them. I finally broke down and started using them as I wasn't sure if people understood some of my lame attempts at humor.

All is good. It could be much worse. Nothing that 15 minutes to the local part store can't change tomorrow morning.

Dude! They are using LSD now to treat PTSD with positive results. Times are a changing. Where I live, cannabis is treated the same as alcohol. I know some people in their 50s and 60s that willing to try it for pain relief.
I was going to start a separate thread, eventually, but the question would fit here fine.
While at home last month my remaining family members talked about using CBD extracts/oil, and they were all huge fans.  They gave me a bottle to try, which I started about a week ago (also ordered a "pain cream" to apply to my arthritic wrist, couple days into that).
The Farcebook group that my relative invited me to were all extremely enthusiastic, but I didn't join, as I might still go back to work and this kinda stuff would threaten my Security clearances.  CBD is extracted from the hemp plant; some versions are THC-free, and some have "trace" amounts that "might" show up on a drug test.  My very minor research gave me two articles that showed the same molecular diagram for both CBD and THC, so....?
So far, I haven't noticed any benefit.  And the whole thing reminds me of the "Blue-Green Algae" (Klamath Lake, OR) craze that I got semi-involved with, back in about '90 (no observed benefits from that, either).
I did notice, last time I bought some beer, that the convenience store had a sign up: "We now offer CBD Products".  In Utah?!?!?

So, after blathering for so long (again), anyone here using CBD products, and have you seen a benefit?  Inquiring Minds Want To Know.
I would not recommend buying any CBD or THC products from a Convienence store. Reputable dispensaries are the way to go...depending on where you live.

Anne makes all of our bread, various mixes of grains and always sourdough. We never tried baking it in the Egg before, so had a go tonight. I used the platesetter legs up then grid then a stone on some fire bricks to get the bread up high in the dome. Temperature varied a bit, I had to rush it up to temp as everyone was hungry! Started 210 C ended 240 C. Turned it 90 degrees at 10 minutes to make sure it was evenly cooked, total 25 minutes. This is plain white.

Nice, I heard some folks even get a pristine egg dedicated to baking only  ;)

They sent me home with a set for torsion bars and not coils. I just cross referenced the numbers. Ugh. Now my hope is that the set for coils has a wider dimension to fit the studs right. I'm going to bring in my old shock with and have them open the new set to compare the two.

I have had to do that a number of times.  I have even had some of the sales persons argue with me that the part they gave me was correct because the computer said so, even though the parts were clearly different and physically non-interchangeable.

  • An Employee at Franklin got The 'Rona so they had to shut down for a while. It's gotten bad here in TX. They are now admitting adults to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston because they are running out of beds in the regular hospitals.

@The Cen-Tex Smoker I had heard about the need to press the Children's Hospital into serving adults.  Hopefully the rate is slowing although I haven't heard of any trends and I'm not out looking for it.  However, that is a sensational enough head-line it may make the national news cycle tonight.

Sorry to hear about Franklin's but his press release reads like he gets it.

No issue with the return. They unfortunately didn't have the cheap coil shocks in stock. So I had to upgrade. They did give me a $35 discount on them but still an additional $50 more the upgraded set. They appear to be the correct size now. Hoping so at least when comparing the new to the old.

I once had a Batteries+ store employee swear their computer was never wrong. The battery was too long to fit in the compartment for it. I went to Pep Boys and bought one, then returned the first one while rejecting the "What about this one?" No thanks, had your chance.

We are in an essential vertical slope with (dubious) records set every single day so no slow down on the horizon. People have given up caring and there is a large "it's all a hoax", "anti-Mask" and anti "social distancing" crowd here. It's almost as if we could have predicted this :).  58% of the new cases are now people in their 30's and younger. They are going to get their party on no matter what so I guess it's  baton down the hatches and let them have at it.

Just curious if any of y’all have tried the ceramic stones from Spyderco and Norton? For the money they actually do a great job of finishing. What I like most about them is they do not require oil or water.
If any of y’all use them offer your thoughts.

The above is a 8x3 Spyderco ultra fine.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

The greatest barrier against all wisdom, the stronghold against knowledge itself, is the single thought, in ones mind, that they already have it all figured out.

I looked into the glass stones for awhile since they dont need water either but they were expensive and the stone to flatten them was more than the glass stones. How do you flatten the ceramic ones or do they need to be flattened?
