That's the worst feeling in the world. Have had that ear-clogged feeling pop up at least once a decade.South of Nashville - BGE XL - Alfresco 42" ALXE - Alfresco Versa Burner - Sunbeam Microwave -
That sure looks unstable...WeberWho said:I saw this for sale on Craigslist. I have zero interest in buying it but I would be absolutely lying if I didn't want to see it in action and try the food that came off it. It's probably worth more than the $100 he's asking in just the design and time. Not including the materials.
It looks like he has a blower on the lower fire box that forces air up to upper smoke box.

Anne makes all of our bread, various mixes of grains and always sourdough. We never tried baking it in the Egg before, so had a go tonight. I used the platesetter legs up then grid then a stone on some fire bricks to get the bread up high in the dome. Temperature varied a bit, I had to rush it up to temp as everyone was hungry! Started 210 C ended 240 C. Turned it 90 degrees at 10 minutes to make sure it was evenly cooked, total 25 minutes. This is plain white.

Made skirt steak tacos today, and I simplified a marinate that Rick Bayless had on EweTube or PBS. I salted/wrapped the steak about two hours before cooking, then half-hour before I spread both sides with a marinade made in the blender with just one chipotle chile and the juice of one lemon; that's it! Rick's used lemon, lime, and orange juice (and probably a couple other things) but I used what I had.
After slicing I popped a couple pieces in my mouth, before covering it with taco fixin's, and it's a keeper for me, for sure.“I'll have what she's having."

Thank you sir. It was very tasty, but I think I liked the gold grade cowboy cut I did last year better. But that's like saying I like the Ferrari better than the Lambo. They are both fantastic and you can't really go wrong with either one.Ozzie_Isaac said:

Old industrial properties often have "hidden" issues which can potentially be very expensive to mitigate later on so it may not be quite so simple a deal as it seems.

Just finished putting together our new dining room table. A chair had a slight defect so they sent us two more (they come in pairs). A little wood glue and a clamp will fix the defect. Wife is happy, the house is coming along.

Ear stuff just flat out sux.Battleborn said:Just got done with the doctor. Perforated eardrum. They put a piece of paper over the hole and now my ear feels clogged. The worst pain I’ve ever been in was from a double ear infection while I was home from college one Christmas. I was in so much pain I asked my mom to get me a joint from our stoner neighbor because I was willing to try anything and not a fan of opiates. She obliged, as did he and it helped. -
Funny. For years it was a gateway drug, now it is used for pain relief as well as other issues, and I just read, to treat those with drug dependency, such as opiates."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

Dude! They are using LSD now to treat PTSD with positive results. Times are a changing. Where I live, cannabis is treated the same as alcohol. I had many ear infections as a baby and toddler. That was near 60 years ago before tubes were a thing. Because of that I have problems hearing people with low pitched voices voices especially if they talk in a monotone. The tinnitus came on in high school.Battleborn said:

While at home last month my remaining family members talked about using CBD extracts/oil, and they were all huge fans. They gave me a bottle to try, which I started about a week ago (also ordered a "pain cream" to apply to my arthritic wrist, couple days into that).
The Farcebook group that my relative invited me to were all extremely enthusiastic, but I didn't join, as I might still go back to work and this kinda stuff would threaten my Security clearances. CBD is extracted from the hemp plant; some versions are THC-free, and some have "trace" amounts that "might" show up on a drug test. My very minor research gave me two articles that showed the same molecular diagram for both CBD and THC, so....?
So far, I haven't noticed any benefit. And the whole thing reminds me of the "Blue-Green Algae" (Klamath Lake, OR) craze that I got semi-involved with, back in about '90 (no observed benefits from that, either).
I did notice, last time I bought some beer, that the convenience store had a sign up: "We now offer CBD Products". In Utah?!?!?
So, after blathering for so long (again), anyone here using CBD products, and have you seen a benefit? Inquiring Minds Want To Know.“I'll have what she's having."

I was gifted some creme application deal around 8-9 months ago (by a believer). I gave it a 5 day trial for arthritis issues of which I have a few. Nothing noted-declared victory and moved on.
But a great topic for the Friday watering hole session...Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
My wife uses CBD to help with anxiety. It helps her immensely. It takes about 3-4 weeks to "build up." She takes the non-THC version, but, she does get it at a dispensaryBotch said:

Do not get gas station CBD. It isn't tested as strictly and won't work. If you are truly interested, look into a company called CBD Ops. It is tested and non-THC. I don't take it, but know people that do. It helps them.Las Vegas, NV -
