@The Cen-Tex Smoker Something to be proud of for sure. I even see the influence of the diamond plate...

Taco poppers. Had some left over taco meat and cheese sauce. Sprinkled Meat Church Fajitaish on bacon. Yum.

These and some Instant Pot corn on the cob were amazing. The mixture of raspberry chipotle, sweet and smoky rib rub, with the Smucker's peach preserve and peach wood smoke took these ribs to a new level for me. Will do this cook again.

So nice we made it twice. Even better tonight. Dough was a little better and we added a little
more gelatin to this round. I’m declaring victory on these.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX -

Ah - now I feel way more at home, like slipping on a set of velvet overalls.
Like a rat out of drainpipe, here comes the next round of PL matches. So what did we learn from the first post-lockdown set? Man City are actually very good, Liverpool do it better with a crowd, Arsenal still have a massive hapless streak, Norwich really are doomed and some other stuff of less consequence.
Tonight
Leicester v Brighton : faltering start by the Foxes and those wretched Seagulls now think that are Brazil because they beat a terrible Arsenal side. Come on Vardy et al - do the decent thing and proper hump the stripey Tarquins. 3-0
Spurs v West Ham - could be a right bore fest here, judging by last time out. Jose’s men should have enough and especially if they get a tune out of Harry Kane. 2-1
Wednesday
Man Utd v Sheff Utd - the Blades’ fell apart against Newcastle, which was disappointing. Tough to call, but 2-0 and the visitors’ season starts to dissolve.
Newcastle v Aston Villa - big match for both, a win either way will be significant for each teams’ chances of survival. I think the Toon have enough - but I would bet zero pounds on it. 2-1
Norwich v Everton - chance for the Toffees to build on the decent draw with Liverpool and get their strikers back in to goal scoring form. 0-2
Wolves v Bournemouth - routine 2-0 for Wolves and possibly more. The visitors look doomed.
Liverpool v Palace - well,I think Palace’s 4 game winning streak ends here and if it’s by one goal - no shame in that. 2-1 and Liverpool still need something next time out to win the title. (Footnote, Palace do have a history of wrecking title - runs, just saying….)
Thursday
Burnley v Watford - the visitors need points more than the hosts, but its difficult to tell whether they will get any here. Burnley haven’t hit the magic 40 points yet and I think will be happy to squeeze this game out for a point. 0-0
Southampton v Arsenal - got to be a home win here, not that Saints are great but the Gunners are all over the shop. 2-0, Arteta’s in a spin and the squad needs another over-haul.
Chelsea v Man City - lots of talent on display and likely a good game to watch. I would love City to win the next few games and scare the daylights out of Liverpool. They cant realistically get close but I can certainly seeing them potting 3 points a match from this point forward. 2-3 & lots of fun.
That’s your lot for now but don’t panic I’ll be back in a couple of days. Now do your special happy dance for me. Go on, do it like no-one is watching.

Catching up for last night's cook, @Eoin patiently lived through vicariously.

I saw this for sale on Craigslist. I have zero interest in buying it but I would be absolutely lying if I didn't want to see it in action and try the food that came off it. It's probably worth more than the $100 he's asking in just the design and time. Not including the materials.
It looks like he has a blower on the lower fire box that forces air up to upper smoke box.
