@YukonRon beautiful.  I think the thing about Venice that I like most after the gelato, historical landmarks, chapels, churches and utterly fantastic food, is that everywhere you go it is a picture worth taking. Just after going over one of those small bridges or going around a cobblestone street corner, there is another view Seemingly better than the last. The city just makes you feel you are living in a romantic Italian painting.

I am enjoying every picture. Thank you for sharing!

Hanging out with friends. The same group of guys I've known since 8th grade. Side hurts laughing as we are constantly busting each other's balls. So much fun getting together with these knuckle heads. Even if it's 10% of the trouble we use to get in together. I hope everyone else had a wonderful New Years!

  • Started the new year with 18 holes of golf.  Still a little snow on the course, but zero wind (wind turbines in background were not turning) which is rare for around here.

My parents surprised me with a late Christmas present. Got 75 of these guys plus their feeders to put out on my farm. Hoping I can keep the coyotes, bobcats and fire ants in check to let these guys get a good foothold.
Set them out in 3 groups of 25

Hope the three groups are outside the picture-window range of your pooches! =)

  • Looking at flights that will get me to Kobe in March for the COMPSAFE 2020 meeting.  The good news is that I’ll get to visit Kobe for about a week.  The bad news is that I need to fly in an airplane to get there.

The itineraries are pretty terrible.  At least 15 hrs in the air.  Yuck.
