    Getting ready for another trip to India via Hong Kong (best airport in the world) this time.  Hopefully I will have time for some noodles during layover.

    The new one in HK is nice, the old one (Kai Tak) was more fun, landing in the city next to the high rises.

    Last time I was in HK was 89.  I will miss the highrises and maneuvers on landing and take-off ;)

    My ghetto paint booth. I started painting the smoker yesterday but had to stop part way through. I was having issues with the cotton from the cotton trees float into the wet paint and sticking. The screen tent has sat idle for 8 years. I figured it needed to be used for something.

    HK is a fantastic airport, if you've never gone thru the middle east via Qatar or Emirates you should give that route a try. Those are incredible airports as well and the in flight service is absurd. And $9 Cuban Montecristo's #2 in duty free.

    Just heard that the Sauer family has sold off their business to a venture capital firm. So a hundred thirty plus years of family ownership comes to an end.
    Sauer is the maker of Duke's mayo. Not sure what this means down the road for the quality/price of the mayo but might go ahead and load up the pantry in the coming weeks. Sauer also makes a bbq sauce that we have been using for decades - will probably load up on that also.

    @Killit_and_Grillit - With regard to your hot dog entry- a few questions;
    1. is the Dog undersized
    2. bun oversized
    3.  Vision going south such that you can't discern red from yellow (aka Ketchup (sup) and mustard)

    Since it's Friday eve I'm sure there are great explanations somewhere.  FWIW- =)
    Whoa, whoa... ease up now.

    An undersized dog is a serious accusation.

    Sometimes you just want the comfort food you grew up on.  According to my wife " I did good".   Country fired steak with cream potatoes , fresh early green beans and tomatoes with milk gravy, homemade cathead biscuits with butter and honey.  I'll have biscuits and gravy for Saturday morning breakfast.

    You did great.
