Thanks for the encouragement guys. Just really banging my head as I used to be in great shape...just hard to fathom I'm where I'm at now...

    I'm trying to loose 80 lbs...I'm down 12 . I know it's better than none
Stick with it, I'm trying to stay motivated ...from marathoner / cyclist I let myself go for two years after 20 non stop years of training. Started hitting it hard in January 8 times a week, weighed in yesterday 7 pounds heavier than when I started almost 6 months ago ....Cardio is coming back strong , just don't pay to much attention to the numbers

Another voice of encouragement. A bit like @lkapigian I used to run and cycle - then quit and bloomed to 265 pounds. Now I’m back eating right and exercising. Down to 185 and enjoying running and cycling again. I’ve been at maintenance for 8+ months. It will happen for you - just keep making the choices that lead to success.

That's quite a sea-going ride right there.  Much more challenging than motoring up the East Coast.  He could  have sent it ahead but...

  • A few nights out here boat camping. We were running pretty skinny water, played pretty hard through the channels. First picture is where we set up camp. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful. Where were those taken? I’m in Ottawa.

@GATraveller @GrateEggspectations @DoubleEgger Its always a blast, a lot of pushing this weekend as there were about 10 boats out there with us. But always a fun time. This is on the North Saskatchewan River, below the Big Horn Dam in Western Alberta, Between the Big Horn and Nordegg. A couple hours from my place so we decided to make a weekend out of it as we usually do. From the launch, to the dam and back is roughly ~80 miles there and back, add a bunch for playing around in all the channels. Makes for an interesting day for sure.

Nice. I was wondering if you were on The Sask, Athabasca, or Columbia. Looks like a great time and Alberta is a scenic as it gets.

All we need now is a boat jumping video... lol

Removed the carpet from the steps going from the kitchen to the family room.  A prior homeowner liked adhesive linoleum tiles.  One layer on top of another.  There's beautiful hardwood underneath there somewhere.
About to research the best way to remove the old adhesive paper backing.

Try your local flooring dealer.  Not a big box. An actual flooring store.  Give me a day and I’ll try to get an answer for you.  I know a guy…
