Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

@Jeremiah it’s pretty amazing what these boats will go through. Some pretty skinny sh*t. Few inches and good to go. It’s when you run out of water and to long to slide that the pushing begins. With the right boat.
Bit yes it has to be my favourite summer activity by far.

Putting a couple of Tri Tips on with some coffee rub from Trader Joe's. It is a fairly frequent cook, not worthy of its own thread.
BattleDog playing dead, in hopes of being revived with said Tri Tip.

Teammate did a grilled cheese bar at softball this evening. I was told to bring the Blackstone. I snapped two pictures. The bacon at the beginning and the last couple sandwiches part way through the cook. I forgot to take a picture of all the sandwiches on the Blackstone at once. Oh well. I was scrambling on time. I somehow managed to lock my keys in the truck with the propane tank when at the ball fields. Fortunately the city reserve police will come out and unlock vehicles for free. I would have ran home with my wife's car but a semi rolled over blocking a bridge that we need to take up to the ball fields. So it wasn't worth the drive back home as we had to take a major detour on the way there. So only two quick pictures I guess...

Putting together a hvlp spray gun to paint the smoker. I've never used one prior. This could get interesting.

Take a spare piece of cardboard and get your pressure and spray pattern dialed in before you fall in on the smoker.

Thanks for the tip! @TTC
I've spent a fair amount of time watching videos and how they work. Will definitely take some time playing around and figuring out the spray pattern. I just spent the last hour or so cleaning up the gun. It came coated with shipping gunk everywhere."The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Currently hiding under my desk hoping that HR/Grim Reaper doesn't come to my office. 25 people laid off this morning and they are about to start round 2 here in a second.
