I may be off by miles but I think there is more to it. In my opinion, Georgia is a far better team than Texas this this year. I think they were still reeling from the loss to Bama and not making it into the playoffs. Their heart simply wasn’t in the game. Basically to a top tier school, anything short of the National Championship is meaningless. Especially after getting knocked out of contention at the very end of the season. 
The same thing happened to Bama a few years ago when they was cheated and robbed by Ohio and the referees. They went on to lose to Oklahoma in the bowl game. I don’t think that anyone in their right mind would try to make a serious claim that Oklahoma was even in Bamas league that year, but yet they beat Bama. 
My point is simple, if that game would of been played before the loss to Bama, Georgia would of easily dismantled Texas. It wouldn’t of even been a ballgame. It would of been a massacre. I knew that Georgia was a far superior team than Texas, but I didn’t bet on them due to the reasons mentioned above. 

Just caught up on the last 7 pages due to being off for the holidays.

Glad I wasn't on here during the game.  Might have made some folks mad with LEO post game messages.  Anywho, here is a little something to consider for all the SEC is the greatest conference ever guys.

Big news : (Insert fanfare sound here...) I am making my annual journey to the alter of football majesty, the jewel in the crown of old London town : Crystal Palace.  Go on, Google it - but don't blame me if you think you've wasted a life by not living the utopian Croydon existence.  I will try to capture images by virtue of the late Mr Jobs endeavours and add them to this thread (one step closer it being nuked by Buffalo). 

On a more serious note : any Brutalist fans out there?  Couple of great YouTube videos about the post-war development of Croydon, at the height of UK mid-century architecture.  Not quite Frank Lloyd Wright or 'Le Corbusier' but of that genre.    Plot-spoiler though, naked concrete and hard angles in dreary, damp, wind-swept South London is a sub-optimal site for buildings evoking Villa Savoye.   Interestingly the outskirts of Croydon host some splendid Art Deco homes, as well. 

Also, I've been away for three weeks and have massive BGE withdrawal.  There's a spare turkey left over, trust me - that's getting smoked soon! 

One other thing, what is Wildcard Weekend?  I heard about it today and could not even begin to understand it.

We had a Chinese restaurant near my house called “One Ho”.  I always thought it was weird esp since they had several women working there at any given time.

I'd think the city manager of Keene would be pleased that a business thinks Keene is Great!

They should really try to keep that name, SCOTUS is on their side (Cohen v. California).

I tried "whipped cauliflower" for the first time today, nice!  Boiled the florets from one head in 1" of water for 15 minutes, into the processor with salt, nutmeg and a big glop of butter, and processed.  Will do this in two batches next time, my Kitchenaid wouldn't pull all the florets in (was tasty "rustic", too!)  
 
Has anyone tried making this with a potato ricer instead?  They're a lot easier to clean.

I thought I loved cheese.  I take it you have plans to make cheese fries at some point?
