A question for you doctors/smart people. How long does it take for the human body to naturally liquify?
Back in college I rented a house where the prior owner died and melted thru the floor.
Well… do you remember how long that took?
You can use the contextual clues from his statement to answer that question.
Yeah, my question was actually a joke as you've probably guessed.  Even then I’m not sure I anticipated the reply from fishlessman, about kids picking salmon out of a river with dead bodies decomposing in it.  Kind of puts his forum handle in an entirely new light.

big immigration of cambodian people in lowell ma at the time, they all fished as family units, kids mom dad grandparents all together on the banks. i used to give away alot of fish back then.  im sure i gave fish i caught over the crab guy over that weekend. the kids with the salmon guy took off with the bucket as soon as i got a cruiser to pull over, they couldnt get to him from shore, spinning in an intake side funnel of a hydro-dam not going anywhere is why they got the copter. it was on a canal dumping into the merrimack which tells me that he was dumped off (debris from the river doesnt enter the canal.) i did not expect what was going to happen when they lifted the guy out
Is there a version of this in English?

Did Italian and Smoked Poblano with Pepper Jack Cheese , flavor was excellent, next time I would and more pork fat and higher % of a binder , was a tad crumbly but not a deal breaker …meat on its own was almost “ sweet” not gamey at all , thanks for looking

I could, but easier to vacuum the patio.  Here is my “lawn”.

Given that I always second guess his Friday morning Premier League predictions for the weekend's matches, I thought I would give him these probably woefully inaccurate predictions.  Feel free to ignore them and make your own, or use mine as a skeleton for your own predictions and comments.

Leicester 0, Chelsea 2 (I think that Chelsea’s massive number of players serves them well as it forces them to compete mightily for playing time and this comes in especially handy after an international break)

All true and even the screaming skull that is Jamie Vardy won’t save the wily Foxes this time.  They should accept 0-2 immediately

Bournemouth 0, Brighton 3 (Brighton are for real – at least until the 2nd half of the season)

Don’t believe  the hype, the filthy fetid Seagulls sustain through dark arts and conspiracy.  Which is all the rage over your side of the pond, right?  The Cherries are no pushover though, so I think it’s a one goal thriller. 0-1

Arsenal 2, Nottingham Forest 0 (Gunners will win but it won’t be as easy as their fans would hope for)

Forest are the surprise package so far, and they gurgle the Reds at Anfield. Do the same here and Micky A’ will combust. But – quality will count. 2-1

Aston Villa 3, Crystal Palace 2 (A high scoring affair that may not be this close)

Meh, football’s rubbish – why does anyone bother with it. Could be a shellacking received by the mighty Eagles or an excruciating last minute defeat to the single goal.  1-0

Everton 1, Brentford 1 (This game will be boring enough that if an American watches it and it is their first ever football/soccer match, it will also be their last)

And that would be apex Dyche-ball. Two goals feels heavy, so I’ll go 0-0

Fulham 2, Wolverhampton 2 (Will somehow be a boring match even with a bunch of goals)

Don’t think the Old Gold have two goals in them, on the road. The Cottagers do, so I am at 2-0

Man City 3, Tottenham 1 (Nothing unexpected here.  Haaland will be glad to be back with better teammates)

Given this is Spurs and City have been a (relatively) terrible run so appear ripe for the taking, they’ll roll over and watch 4 fly in.  4-0

Southampton 0, Liverpool 4 (Nothing unexpected here)

Well, yep – it’ll be about that.

Ipswich 1, Man U 2  (Man U players are still trying to impress the new manager and they’re better with him, but not better enough to put this game away comfortably)

The media have been agog with Amorim’s third favourite neck tie, how long his eye-lashes are, whether he likes the smell of roses, and that he once ate some food. All genuine headlines because once upon a time Man Utd were good.  Guys! Come on.  They will win this though. 0-2

Newcastle 1, West Ham 1 (I have to confess that while I understand that these teams are geographically disparate, I get them confused as football teams.  During my time watching the Premier League, neither of them has ever been good enough or bad enough to get my attention.  That probably reflects that they also haven’t gotten the attention of the US stations that broadcast the league over here, nor have they ever had a prominent enough US player to get a lot of air time here.)

I dare you to quote that in the East End of London – amongst the feral Cockernese, or on the banks of the River Tyne were the temperature impervious Geordies lurk, in short sleeves shirts all Winter.

In brief, the Toon were a salt of the earth, working class club – but are now Saudi owned and gradually divorcing themselves from all reality.   The ‘Hammers’ won the World Cup in 1966. Obviously they didn’t but some of the players did. And that brings you fully up to speed.  2-0 and Lopetegui one defeat from the sack.

As I have re-read this I’ve come to recognize how hard it is to make this humorous as my British colleague does every week during the season.

Wild stabbing in the dark is indeed tricky, as is including the letter U liberally across the text.

A very strong effort, I don’t doubt 100% accurate and in fact have been delayed in replying by selling all of my possessions and placing bets with the proceeds.

It's my understanding (based on 3rd hand knowledge) that people who make their living betting on sports only win 54% of their bets.  I'd guess that neither one of us individually beats that - but if we got together and found games where we agree we might be able to retire...

Yep. I just cleaned and installed the carb on my sister-in-laws snowblower.

I sent her husband a link to a new carburetor for $25 on Amazon. He wasn't interested and didn't think he'd have the time or understanding how to do it. (Pretty much plug and play with a new carb.) So I went and picked it up as he would rather buy a used snowblower that doesn't need work. They also didn't want their Blackstone I sold them a few years ago anymore. So I picked that up as well. I just sent a message to my sister-in-law letting them know their snowblower is done and they can have it back if they haven't purchased another one yet. (I saved the $25 and dunked the carb in a gallon of carb cleaner and blew everything out.) I still need to clean up the rusty Blackstone griddle top and clean the Blackstone before that goes home with my sister when they are visiting during Thanksgiving. I'm still trying to figure out where I win in all of this?

Dyal thanksgiving prep work.  Throwing a ham on the egg in the AM and a turkey in the fryer. Should be fun. My side of the family is doing thanksgiving a week before since everyone lives in different parts of the country. Both brothers en route with their (grown) youngins.

Actually cleaned my house for this. :) Some food pix tomorrow. Good times.
