Eating an omelette.  Was hungry and this sounded okay.  Jalapeño, bacon, mushrooms.  Omelette rolling failed, but still tastes good.

Looks good. Omelette rolling can be a challenge. A few weeks back, I watched a Pépin where he made and rolled an omelette. My attempt to replicate his approach went unrewarded.

Pepin makes so many things look easy and fast!  I think I had too much excess liquid from the mushrooms and bacon fat.  The egg was set but just broke while rolling.

He’s impressive for sure, but I’ve yet to see him really bring together a three cheese blend.

I’ve heard that somewhere before.  It’s the Canadian National Slogan, right?

Wondering how good this pie crust will be. The person who made it is really really high and forgot about it. I hope it works out for them. Lol

I think American Gladiators is more appropriate.

Because Thanksgiving and Black Friday both mean absolutely nothing to me, I am free to mull upon Pep’s crisis, Ruben Amorim’s favourite shade of green, and finally produce a concise definition for the difference between the 8 and 10 roles in a set-up operating a false 9.  So sorry lads, they are all done now and you have no reason to abstain from family commitments / panic buying apparently reduced items that were not even in your conscious of before that fateful click.

He we go, 12 games in and it’s around now that regression to the mean commences alongside fatigue amongst those with weekly Euro commitments.

    Friday

Brighton v Southampton, by peculiar coincidence this free and fair match occurs to catch a peak TV audience and could see the filthy fetid Seagulls reach 2nd in the table. I cay ‘could’ but it has all been decided, possibly out the back of pizza restaurant. 3-0

    Saturday

Brentford v Leicester,  the Foxes have rolled the dice and now have RVN at the helm and it’ll be a fun ride. No one is more certain of the absolute genius RVN than RVN - so grab the popcorn. I anticipate a liberated surge of results and then a flat line which generates tricky final two months of the season. 2-2

Palace v Newcastle, the ying to Brighton’s yang.  A series of softer fixtures have passed while we have been injury ravaged and now a series of table top contenders are lined up while our best players tentatively return to the squad. Toon have been far from compelling but are a better squad. Best outcome will be a draw. 1-1

Forest v Ipswich, undefeated in three for the Tractor boys and could/should/would have beaten Liverpool last time out.  Is this their purple patch or the launch pad? Forest are hot off two defeats probably as a consequence of believing their own hype, so this match is a litmus for both sides. Home advantage means 2-1

Wolves v Bournemouth, so Wolves have come to the party now then? Four unbeaten and two wins, i.e all of them this season - on the bounce. The Cherries are the inverse of that form. 2-0 and mid table obscurity beckons for the Old Gold.

West Ham v Arsenal, the Hammers finally won a game, just in time to save Lopetgui’s job but the Gunners need/want a decent win to re-establish their table topping cajones. 0-1

    Sunday

Chelsea v Villa, the Villa’s are fading while The Chelss aren’t and it’s as simple as that. 3-0

Man Utd v Everton, let’s see how special the new/current special one is when he confronts Dyche-ball, which is a heady cocktail of no or single goal thrillers. Good test and far from simple. 1-0 but only just.

Spurs v Fulham, Spursy Spursy Spurs - so it has to be a multi-goal fiesta of fun.  Their stubborn rotating win/lose policy indicates a defeat here and no one would bet against that, because it would be Spursy. The Cottagers score and concede goals at equal rate, but six goals feels too big, so a share of five and despite my better judgment it’s a home win 3-2.

Liverpool v Man City, nothing to see here - except everything! A home win puts 11 points between these two and that would have been unthinkable as little as a month ago.  Citeh’s new found enthusiasm for victory avoidance is the big story right now. Can Citeh survive at the daylight starved depths of 5th place? Who cares, but a home win feels mostly correct whilst not nailed on.  2-1.

There you go, you turkey ravaged discount chasing click-monsters.  Enjoy!

Thank you for that. I tried to find flaw with it but after going over it 3 times with a fine toothed comb I was unable to.  This feels like the week when I need to finally enact the "bet everything on these recommendations so I can retire" plan.  (Which means that the process of diversifying my portfolio to include a decent percentage of real estate over the past few years may have gotten me reduced returns but at least it protects me from selling quickly to bet on sports recommendations.)

I even tried to muster up a feeling that this could be the game where City return to form to close the gap at the top but I just don't see it.  That would require players like Foden and Grealish to truly create something special against a great team and I've never thought they were "all that".

I suggest you do so, because a life when you haven't had to rebuild everything again from scratch on the basis of an unnecessary gamble is a life unlived, right?
